Risky Business: Local inventors hope their ideas reap monetary rewards

Get ready for a night of fierce competition Thursday at the Southeast Indiana Small Business Development Center's Risk It: Indiana! competition at the Venture Out Business Center. The event begins at 7 p.m.
Risk It: Indiana is a new competition to highlight and award the ingenuity of local inventors and entrepreneurs in Southern Indiana.
Each of the competitors will present their invention or concept to a panel of business professionals in a competition to win over $4,000 in prizes.
Contestants are: Bob Malcomb of Deputy, Angela Arndt of Rising Sun, Richard Eadens of Charlestown, Edward Burns of Seymour, Savannah Fischbach of Clarksville, Andy Rust of Elizabeth, and Devon Kondaki of Hanover.
The audience will select the winner of the Audience Choice Award.
