Madison Police are still investigating an armed robbery that occurred on Dec. 6 at the Taco Bell on Clifty Drive.

Police Chief Dan Thurston said the robber "came inside the restaurant and pointed the firearm in the face of the employee behind the counter and demanded the money from the register."

Taco Bell employees described the suspect as approximately 6-feet tall, medium build, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants and tan construction boots. The suspect took $300 before running north through the parking lot. Witnesses said he was also wearing a skeleton mask.

Patrolman Josh Abbott was the first to respond to the scene.
