Sheriff's deputies arrested a Madison teenager Thursday after police said he threatened his parents with a machete.
Charles T. Steele, 18, was arrested on charges of intimidation with a deadly weapon, a Class C felony, and battery, a Class B misdemeanor.
Sheriff John Wallace said Steele and his parents were arguing after they found Steele had alcohol. That's when Steele began making threats with the machete, Wallace said.
Once deputies arrived on scene, Steele was taken into custody without incident, police said. He was taken to the Jefferson County Jail.
