Ten arrested on drug charges in Carroll County

State and local police departments teamed up in Carroll County, Ky., on Friday to serve warrants for drug-related charges.
The Kentucky State Police, Carroll County Sheriff's Office, and Carrollton Police Department attempted to serve 16 warrants on charges of trafficking heroin and prescription narcotics.
Ten people were arrested on warrants served Friday. Police arrested:
June Marie McAllister, 41, Carrollton
Patricia L. Horine, 56, Carrollton
Larry J. Fry, 40, Carrollton
Kanoe T. Koki-Medeiros, 31, Carrollton
William H. Pecar, 68, Carrollton
Ashley K. Combs, 21, Carrollton
Montana Austin, 21, Carrollton
Matt D. Andrew, 24, Carrollton
Carl Bruce Hickerson III, 21, Carrollton
Shannon P. Barr, 27, Ghent
All of the subjects arrested were charged with trafficking in a controlled substance. They were lodged at the Carroll County Detention Center. Warrants are still out for six others.
The indictments and arrests were made after four months of undercover drug investigations made by the three agencies, police said.
The undercover buys were made at a variety of locations through Carroll County. The majority of the purchases were heroin, but also included morphine pills, Lortab, Oxycodone and Clonazepan.
