UNGRU ACCEPTS GOLDEN SHAMROCK AWARD
Friday, February 01, 2013 10:00 AM
Students applaud as Dave Ungru stands to receive the Prince of Peace Catholic Schools 2013 Golden Shamrock award after an all-school Mass at Shawe Memorial High School on Thursday.
Dave and Suz Ungru's three sons - Brad, Doug and Todd - and his granddaughters, Jessie and Katie Stuart, are former or current Prince of Peace students.
"Dave was recognized for his longtime dedication and support of both Shawe and Pope John," Phil Kahn, president of Prince of Peace Catholic Schools, said.
"Dave has been involved with the school commission, the dinner auction and many more projects throughout the entire school system," Kahn said. (Staff photo by Ken Ritchiefirstname.lastname@example.org)
