A Bedford, Ky., woman was arrested along with two Washington County, Ind., residents after a methamphetamine lab bust.
April C. Melton, 27, of 370 Harold Lane, was arrested on charges of manufacturing methamphetamine, maintaining a common nuisance, possession of chemicals or precursors, and possession of marijuana. Donald E. Jones, 36, and Amanda J. McKinley, 36, both of Salem in Washington County were arrested on the same charges.
The Washington County Sheriff's Department said in a press release that the county's drug enforcement team and the Indiana State Police executed a search warrant at 400 S. Harrison St. in Salem on Thursday.
The warrant was issued based on information that the suspects went to various stores throughout the day to buy items needed to make methamphetamine.
The search revealed an active methamphetamine lab inside the residence, according to the press release.
