Kentucky police respond
to several accidents

Four people from Crestwood, Ky., were injured Saturday night when a westbound truck went off the right side of KY 42 and the driver overcorrected, causing the truck to cross the roadway and hit a tree, Kentucky State Police said.
It was one of several accidents KSP, Trimble County fire departments and emergency services responded to over the weekend, including three all-terrain vehicle accidents and a moped accident.
The truck wreck was reported to Milton and Bedford fire departments around 7:45 p.m. Saturday.
Two passengers in the truck, Jorge Reyos, 21, and Marco Lopez-Vasquez, 34, were flown to University Hospital in Louisville, Ky. They were reported in good condition today, according to KSP dispatch records.
The driver, Luis Vasques-Hernandez, 24, and another passenger, Hilario Ceballos-Chico, 21, were taken to the hospital by ambulance. No information was available about them.
The all-terrain accidents also were Saturday. Kentucky State Police and emergency crews responded to them.
An accident at 93 Bucks Run Road involving a 43-year-old rider was reported at 2:09 a.m. The rider received a broken nose, reports said. Another accident was reported at 93 Bucks Run Road at 5:21 p.m. involving a 28-year-old rider. Injuries were unknown.
A third accident involving an ATV was reported at 6:30 p.m. at 228 Wise's Landing Road. The 29-year-old male rider sustained a broken leg.
Emergency crews also responded to a moped accident near Bells Ridge Road and KY 42 on Sunday. Sarah Dimartile, 22, Louisville, was flown to University Hospital in Louisville with injuries that were not life-threatening injuries including a broken leg, KSP dispatch reports said.
