NO INJURIES FROM ACCIDENT
Thursday, January 24, 2013 10:00 AM
A three-vehicle accident reduced traffic to one lane Wednesday on U.S. 421. Milton and Bedford Fire crews responded to reports of the accident near the intersection of KY 625 around 3:30 p.m. Amy Liter of Milton was attempting to make a left turn and was stopped in the northbound lane of U.S. 421. Another vehicle driven by Johnny Mack of Milton had stopped behind her. Kalee Cook of Bedford was unable to stop her vehicle in time and struck Mack's vehicle, which was pushed into Liter's vehicle, a Milton Fire and Rescue spokesman said. Liter's Chevrolet SUV remained operable, and she was able to drive away. Mack's Ford SUV and Cook's Chevrolet had to be towed. Traffic on U.S. 421 was reduced to one lane for about an hour as crews cleaned fluids and debris. There were no injuries. (Staff photo by Renee Bruck)
