Six arrested in Trimble County on drug charges

State police arrested six people in Trimble County Friday afternoon after receiving several tips about possible methamphetamine production in a Bedford apartment complex.
Bedford residents Jeremy K. Garrett, Kirk Savage, Cody D. Rodriguez, and Latoshia R. Rayburn, Milton resident Brandi Jones and Corbin resident Amanda Brown face drug possession and drug manufacturing charges after Kentucky State Police found several old inactive meth labs in a residence on McDowell Lane.
Police received information and tips over the past several weeks about a meth lab at Garrett's apartment in Bedford. State police went to the location Friday where troopers were granted permission to search the home, KSP Post 5 spokesman Brad Arterburn said.
Troopers found several old meth labs, but none were active, Arterburn said. Police also found several ingredients used in making methamphetamine and a small amount of finished methamphetamine at the residence.
Garrett, 24, Savage, 22, Rayburn, 24, and Brown, 29, were arrested on charges of manufacturing methamphetamine, possession of a controlled substance - methamphetamine, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Rodriguez, 20, was arrested on charges of manufacturing methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, trafficking in a controlled substance and two counts of possession of a controlled substance.
Jones, 35, faces charges of manufacturing methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance - methamphetamine, trafficking in a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance and resisting arrest.
Five of the six people were taken to the Carroll County Detention Center in Carrollton. Jones was transported to the Carroll County Memorial Hospital in Carrollton for treatment to injuries she received during the arrests.
KSP Trooper Matt Whalen leads the ongoing investigation.
Whalen was assisted at the scene by the Trimble County Sheriff's Office and Trimble County EMS.
