Police arrested three men on Monday after receiving information that people at a Bedford home were selling pills.
Anthony Merrill Sr., 47, and Anthony Merrill Jr., 22, both of Bedford, and Don Brown III, 21, of Dayton, were arrested on drug charges after law enforcement executed a search warrant at a residence in the 800 block of Hardy Creek Road, a Kentucky State Police release said.
A team from Kentucky State Police, Trimble County Sheriff's Department and the Northern Kentucky Drug Task Force found several hundred pills and a small amount of marijuana when they entered the home, the release said. Two vehicles, a four-wheeler, a moped, five firearms and more than $4,000 in cash were also seized from the property.
All three men were charged with trafficking in a controlled substance, tampering with physical evidence and possession of marijuana. They remain lodged at the Carroll County Detention Center in Carrollton on $5,000 cash bonds each.
Kentucky State Police Trooper Jim Phelps leads the ongoing investigation.
