Courier Staff Report
Thursday, February 27, 2014 10:00 AM
A two-vehicle crash reduced traffic on U.S. 421 in Trimble County to one lane for about an hour Wednesday morning.
Randy Stevens of Bedford was traveling north on U.S. 421 attempting to turn onto New Hope Road when Virginia Bailey failed to see Stevens' vehicle and rear ended it. Emergency responders and fire crews responded to the crash around 8 a.m., Milton Fire Chief Jason Long said.
Both Stevens and Bailey refused treatment and transport by emergency services after the crash, Long said.
Milton and Bedford fire departments were assisted at the scene by Trimble County EMS and the Trimble County Sheriff's Department.
