01: Two people with Jefferson County ties were featured on playing cards issued by the Indiana Department of Correction representing unsolved homicides. The missing persons include Daniel Reaves, 25, who was last seen in May 2008, and Molly Dattilo, who disappeared in Indianapolis.
03: Former Bengals star and Pro Bowler Elbert "Ickey" Woods was announced as the grand marshal for the Madison Regatta parade.
04: New Hope Services officially took over the county's Women, Infant and Children program in Jefferson County. The company was awarded a bid from the state to handle the services.
07: Carroll and Trimble county schools switched to paper testing because of problems with the American College Test's online programs.
08: An ordinance to develop a board to advise government on economic development issues was withdrawn from consideration by City Council president Rick Berry. Mayor Damon Welch said he would still invite the members to the board without an ordinance.
09: Madison Junior High School teacher Toni Tuttle admitted to tampering with ISTEP+ test results at the school and retired. As a result, the scores of 29 students were invalidated.
10: Theft and corrupt business influence charges against a former owner of Grandview Memorial Gardens, Larry Fox, were dropped after a judge ruled too much time had elapsed in the case.
15: Survivors remembered the 25th anniversary of the Carrollton bus crash that killed 27 people.
16: The Trimble County school board approved a tentative budget for the 2013-2014 fiscal year that included $1.4 million in cuts.
23: New INDOT regulations halted plans for a roundabout at the intersection of Shun Pike and Hutchinson Lane.
