Kenneth R. "Buddy" Kiser, 62, of Deputy, died Monday, April 8, 2013, at Norton Hospital in Louisville, Ky.
He was born Nov. 12, 1950, in Whitesburg, Ky., to Hobert "Coal Miner" and Susan Juanita Lucas Kiser. He resided his early life in Kentucky, moving to Jefferson County at the age of 10. He was employed for several years with Sandstone Industries and enjoyed the people he worked with. He was a University of Kentucky basketball fan. He liked semi-tractor trailers, fishing, drawing and camping. He also enjoyed being with his family. He was a member of the Solid Rock Community Church near Scottsburg.
He is survived by three sisters, Brenda Wolf of Madison, Debbie Higgins of Canaan and Shannon Hamilton of Deputy; five brothers, Keith Kiser of Madison, Jimmy Hall of Whitesburg, Ky., Levi Kiser, Zachary Kiser and Joshua Kiser, all of Indianapolis; one step brother, Ricky McIntosh of Indianapolis; one aunt; two uncles; 11 nieces and nephews; eight great-nieces and great-nephews; and several great-great-nieces, great-great-nephews and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his father, who died July 15, 2010; his mother, who died July 3, 2011; one sister, Patricia Vann Kiser, who died in 1954; one nephew; and one great-niece.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre. Burial will be in Grandview Memorial Gardens.
Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. and Friday from 11 a.m. until the service.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the Solid Rock Community Church. Contribution cards are available at the funeral home.

Betty Jean Milholland, 76, of Madison, died Tuesday, April 9, 2013, at Jennings Healthcare Center in North Vernon.
She was born April 27, 1936, in Trimble County, Ky., to Owen Silas and Bessie Pearl Wright McDole. She was a homemaker and formerly worked as a beautician. She was a member of Green Road Baptist Church.
She is survived by one daughter, Donalee Susnick of Brownstown; one siser, Mary Alice James of Madison; two brothers, Charles Robert McDole of Madison and Richard McDole of Kentucky; two grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Franklin Milholland, whom she married Aug. 29, 1959, and who died Jan. 19, 2013; and her parents.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Vail-Holt Funeral and Cremation Center. Burial will be in the Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday from 11 a.m. until the service.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the Alzheimer's Association, the American Cancer Society or the Green Road Baptist Church. Contribution cards are available at the funeral home.

Erna Price, 88, of Madison, died Monday, April 8, 2013, at her residence.
She was born July 8, 1924, in Tell City, to Edwin and Addie Lawalin Baumgart. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 213 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary Post 2939. She enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren.
She is survived by one daughter, Jackie Waggoner of Madison; twin sister, Verna Logsdon of New Albany; and two grandsons.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Price, whom she married Sept. 30, 1950, and who died in 1996; her parents; two sisters, Ruth Baumgart and Hazel Faulkner; and one brother, Ralph Baumgart.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home in Tell City. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday from 9 a.m. until the service.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Special Olympics of Indiana.
