Frossenia "Kitty" Miller, 76, of Ft. Myers, Fla., formerly of Madison, died Tuesday, April 16, 2013, at Health Park Hospital in Ft. Myers, Fla.

Derrick Yocum

Derrick Lee Yocum, 32, of Lexington, died Monday, April 15, 2013, at his residence.

He was born Feb. 12, 1981, in Madison, to Edwin Lee "Duke" and Johanna "Jodi" Adams Yocum. He was a 1999 graduate of Southwestern High School. He was an Automotive Service Excellence certified mechanic and worked for Jim Hadley Chevrolet for 10 years. He also worked for North American Stainless for two and a half years and as an auxiliary equipment operator at the Indiana-Kentucky Electric Corp. for the past five years. He was a member of the Madison Moose Lodge and United Manual Transmission Racing. He enjoyed working on cars, especially Mustangs. He also enjoyed racing at Edgewater Drag Strip Racetrack, NASCAR, playing the guitar and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Sabrina Lock Yocum, whom he married Feb. 2, 2013; his parents of Hanover; three sisters, Brittni Leach and Kaye Brameier, both of Hanover, and Ginger Eckhoff of Lucedale, Mich.; one brother, Charles Michael Hatchel of Hanover; his maternal grandparents, Melvin and Linda Adams of Hanover; several nieces and nephews; and one great-niece.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, William "Willie" and Bulah Mae Yocum.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Lytle Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Carmel Cemetery in Hanover.

Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. and Friday from 11 a.m. until the service.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the American Cancer Society or the Derrick Yocum Memorial Fund. Contribution cards are available at the funeral home.
