James Anthony Jr.

James L. Anthony Jr., 76, of Hanover, died Monday, Aug. 12, 2013, at King's Daughters' Hospital.

He was born Oct. 24, 1936 in Moorhead, Minn., to James Sr. and Mary McCoskery Anthony. He worked for more than 50 years as an iron worker and retired from Javier Steel in Louisville, Ky. He was a member of the Ironworkers Local 70 Union in Louisville, Ky.

He is survied by his wife, Louise Souza Anthony, whom he married July 14, 1956; five children, David Anthony of Virginia, Antoinette McClung of California, James Anthony of Indianapolis, Lori Scott of Texas and Michael Anthony of Madison; four brothers, Robert Anthony, Mark Anthony, Thomas Anthony and Donald Anthony, all of Utah; seven granddaughters; and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and two sisters, Mary Neal and Shirley Schultz.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Patricia Luellen

Patricia Florence Webster Luellen, 62, of Bedford, Ky., died Wednesday, Aug. 14, 2013, at Baptist Hospital Northeast in LaGrange, Ky.

She was born April 2, 1951, in LaGrange, Ky., to Jesse B. and Mary Chilton Webster. She ran Luellen Gifts and Tanning in Bedford, Ky. She enjoyed gardenin, quilting and her family.

She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Carl L. Luellen; two children, Carl L. Luellen Jr. of Carrollton, Ky. and John B. Luellen of Bedford, Ky.; 12 siblings, Charlotte Carter, Lucy Smith and Jesse Webster Jr., all of Bedford, Ky., Elizabeth Conway of Carrollton, Ky., Patricia Lyons of Eminence, Ky., David Webster of Pendleton, Ky., Ollie McClellan of Shelbyville, Ky., Carolyn Bramlett of Brooksburg, Carroll Webster and Rick Webster, both of Bedford, Ky., Marlene Yocum of Grant County, Ky. and Darlene Wallace of Bedford, Ky.; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Cremation was chosen. Burial will be private in Beford Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to a charity of the donor's choice.

Anna M. Rogers, 86, of Madison, died Wednesday, Aug. 14, 2013, at King's Daughters' Hospital.

Edna Staples

Edna Doris Smith Staples, 85, of Bedford, Ky., died Monday, Aug. 12, 2013, at Signature Health Care of Trimble County.

She was born July 22, 1928, in Madison, to William Edward and Evelyn May Phillips Smith. She was a 1946 graduate of Madison High School and a graduate of the Louisville Cosmetology School. She was a member of the Bedford Baptist Church. She was a former member of the Bedford Younger Women's Club, several square dance clubs and card clubs.

She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Wayne Staples, whom she married Aug. 12, 1950; and one daughter, Karan S. Wilson.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Gloria Jean Hudson and Mary Ann Garrett; and one brother, William E. Smith Jr.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. today at Ransdell Funeral Home in Bedford, Ky. Burial will be private at a later date in Bedford Cemetery.

Mack Terry Jr.

Mack Terry Jr., of Madison, died Tuesday, Aug. 13, 2013 at King's Daughters' Hospital.

He was born Tuesday, Aug. 13, 2013, and lived 59 minutes. He was the son of Melissa "Missy" L. Terry. He was expected to be born in December.

He is survived by his mother of Madison; one sister, Starla Collins of Madison; his maternal grandfather, Mack Terry and his wife Wanda of Madison; his maternal grandmother, Lisa Terry of Madison; one uncle; one step uncle; one step aunt; one great-uncle; one great-aunt; and two cousins.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Wesley and Lenore Langdon; and his maternal great-grandparents, Richard and Eva Terry.

The funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday at Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre.

Friends may call at the funeral home Friday from 1:30 p.m. until the service.
