Peggy A. Davis, 76, of Seymour, died Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2013, at the Lutheran Community Home.
She was born March 4, 1937, in Charles City, Iowa. She moved to Madison in 1964. She was employed at Grote Industries, retiring in March 2000 after 34 years of service. She was director of original equipment manufacturer sales.
She is survived by her husband, Randy Davis; one daughter, Donna Hallgarth of Madison; one step son, Gregory Davis of Avon; three sisters, Glendora Lightbody of Silver Springs, Fla., Joy Sperenborg of Marion, Iowa and Carol Lueck of Regina, Saskatoon, Canada; and several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Cremation was chosen. Her ashes will be scattered in the Ohio River near Madison.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke. Contributions can be made through Woodlawn Family Funeral Centre, 612 Meadowbrook Drive, Seymour, IN 47274, which is in charge of arrangements.

Carolyn Davis May Hammons, 64, of Hanover, died Thursday, Dec. 5, 2013, at Norton Hospital in Louisville, Ky.
Funeral arrangements and additional information are pending at Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre.
Rena Johnson, 63, of Austin, died Thursday, Dec. 5, 2013 at Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville,.
She was born March 15, 1950, in Buckhorn, Ky., to Bill and Ethel Clem Roberts. She was a homemaker and a former employee of American Plastics in Scottsburg.
She is survived by six daughters, Tammy McVey of Paris Crossing, Pam Clements and Debra Riley, both of Scottsburg, and Dora Wilson, Ginger Mullins and Kelly Stagnolia, all of Austin; two sons, L. Paul Johnson of Scottsburg and Jason Johnson of Saudi Arabia; four brothers, James Roberts, Tom Roberts, Ernest Roberts and Malcolm Roberts, all of Austin; four sisters, June Riley and Rosie Durham, both of Austin, Billie Sanders of Deputy, and Betty Hutton of Scottsburg; 17 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and one sister, Tudy Vernon.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg. Burial will be in Wesley Chapel Cemetery in Austin.
Friends may call at the funeral home Monday from 10 a.m. until the service.
