Andy Gibson, 73, of Canaan, died Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2014, at The Waters of Clifty Falls.
Funeral arrangements and additional information are pending at Vail Funeral Chapel.
Mable Marie Patterson Ginn, 81, of Madison, died Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2014, at her residence.
She was born Oct. 8, 1932, in Madison, to Joseph E. and Ada Louise Welch Patterson. She resided all of her life in Jefferson County and was a 1950 graduate of Central High School. She was an active member of the Ryker's Ridge Baptist Church and enjoyed caring for the children in the nursery. She was also a member of the Central High School Alumni and the Ryker's Ridge Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary. She enjoyed cooking meals and sharing with family and friends. She also enjoyed reading the Bible, working with flowers, putting puzzles together with her friends and helping others.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Paul W. Ginn; one daughter, Wilma Jo Vogel of Marion; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Ruba Moore, who died Feb. 26, 1993 and Velma Waller, who died Aug. 16, 2010; two nephews; and one niece.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Ryker's Ridge Baptist Church. Burial will be in the Ryker's Ridge New Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. and at the church Saturday from 11 a.m. until the service.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the ALS Association, Ryker's Ridge Baptist Church or Hospice of King's Daughters' Hospital. Contributions can be made through the funeral home.

Imogene Gatewood Gossom, 87, of Milton, Ky., died Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2014, at Hickory Creek at Madison.
She was born Dec. 28, 1926, in Trimble County, Ky., to John Edwin and Mary Ball Gatewood. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Milton Baptist Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Vickie Butler and Cheryl Pettit, both of Milton, Ky.; six sons, Michael Gossom of Madison, Terry Gossom of Crestwood, Ky., James Gossom of Jeffersonville, Kenneth Gossom of Bedford, Ky., Eddy Gossom of Milton, Ky. and Donnie Gossom of Louisville, Ky.; 18 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford L. Gossom, who died in 2009; one daughter, Brenda Staples; her parents; and one brother, Leland Gatewood.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Milton Baptist Church. Burial will be Moffett Cemetery in Milton, Ky.
Friends may call at the church Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. until the service.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Milton Baptist Church.

Richard George "Smokey" Patterson, 79, of Vevay, died Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2014, at Swiss Villa Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Vevay.
He was born Feb. 1, 1935, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to Richard Gair and Faye Steele Patterson. He was raised and graduated from high school in Cheviot, Ohio. He served in the Army from April 10, 1959 to Aug. 14, 1959, rising to the rank of Private First Class. He was a former automoble mechanic in Harrison, Ohio. He enjoyed tinkering with electronics. He had resided in Vevay for the past nine years.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda L. Howe Patterson, whom he married Jan. 6, 2012; four daughters, Debbie Furnish of Greensburg, Terry Bedelle of Ghent, Ky., Cathy Patterson of Lawrenceburg and Darlene Patterson of Sparta, Ky.; one sister of Cincinnati, Ohio; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and one sister, Patty.
No services are scheduled.
