Betty Foley

Betty Pauline Lowe Foley, 84, of Hanover, formerly of Madison, died Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2013, at Thornton Terrace Health Campus.

She was born Jan. 18, 1929, in Bourbon County, Ky., the daughter of Roy and Pearl Moreland Lowe. She was raised in Bourbon County, Ky. and was a 1947 graduate of Bourbon County High School. She and her family moved to Jefferson County in 1962. She was employed with Inglis Drug Store, Conn Organ and the Hanover College Book Store. She was an active member of Hanover Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday school. She enjoyed reading and antiquing. She was an avid University of Kentucky Wildcats fan.

She is survived by two sons, Steven Ray Foley of Madison and William Michael "Mike" Foley of Hanover; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Ray Foley, whom he married Jan. 20, 1948, and who died July 8, 1992; her parents; four sisters, Kathryn Carr, Thelma Gregory, Margaret Adams and Carolyn Schneider; one brother, Roy Allen Lowe; and one granddaughter.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre. Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home today from 4 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. until the service.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the Hanover Baptist Church. Contribution cards are available at the funeral home.

Holly Hadley

Holly Elizabeth Hadley was stillborn, Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2013, at King's Daughters' Hospital.

She was the daughter of Ernest Scott and Vicky Lynn Ousley Hadley.

She is survived by her parents of Carrollton, Ky.; four brothers, Nathan Hadley, Nicholas Hadley, Evan Hadley and Justin Hadley, all of Carrollton, Ky.; her maternal grandfather, Roy Ousley and his wife Regina of Hazelgreen, Ky.; and her paternal grandparents, Jim and Kathy Stinnett of Monticello, Ky.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Charlene Ousley.

A graveside service and burial will be at 2 p.m. today at the Ghent Masonic Cemetery in Ghent, Ky.

Anita Sizemore

Anita Eleanor Sizemore, 87, of Hanover, died Wednesday Feb. 6, 2013, at her residence.

She was born Sept. 17, 1925, in Chester, Pa., the daughter of Anthony and Mary Kogut. She worked at the Franklin Mint and Control Switch while living in Pennsylvania. She was also a housewife. She was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church.

She is survived by two daughters, Antoinette Hopper of Hanover and Joanne Weibley of Hatfield, Pa.; two sisters, Jennie Barnard of Delaware and Veronica Evans of Pennsylvania; one granddaughter; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Glen Sizemore; her parents; two brothers; and three sisters.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. She chose to donate her body to the Indiana University School of Medicine.
