Pauline "Pod" Whitaker Frazier, 89, of Dupont, died Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2013, at King's Daughters' Hospital.

Bernard Heitz, 87, of Madison, died Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2013, at the Kentuckiana Medical Center.

Edna M. Horton, 95, of Hanover, died Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2013, at The Waters of Clifty Falls.

Wanda L. Carlton Johns, 76, of Vevay, died Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2013, at King's Daughters' Hospital.

Carl E. Lee, 72, of Marysville, died Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2013, at his residence.
He was born March 15, 1940, in Madison, the son of George and Sarah Rea Lee. He retired from Ford Motor Company's Kentucky Ford Truck Plant in Louisville, Ky. after 42 years of service. He served in the Army Reserves. He attended Pleasant View Baptist Church in New Washington. He enjoyed farming, tractors and working in his garden.
He is survived by his wife, Teresa Fleenor Lee; one daughter, Jacqueline Sheori of Corydon; one step daughter, Tracey Hoskins of Arizona; two sisters, Ethel May Branham and Elaine Phillips, both of Madison; one brother, Allen Lee of Norfolk, Va.; one aunt; one granddaughter; one grandson; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one son, Ricky Lee; his parents; and one sister, Helen Turner.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Pleasant View Baptist Church. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery in New Washington.
Friends may call at Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown today from 3 to 8 p.m. ad at the church Friday from 10 a.m. until the service.

Deloris Patricia "Pat" Higgins Lunsford, 78, of Madison, died Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2013, at University of Louisville Hospital in Louisville, Ky.
She was born July 12, 1934, in Switzerland County, the daughter of Louie C. and Dorothy R. Supplee McDarment. She became a licensed beautician in 1966 and worked in a beauty shop for 12 years. She also worked as an attendant at the Madison State Hospital for eight years. She was a member of the Christian church.
She is survived by one step son, Robert Oder of Indianapolis; one brother, Louis C. "Buck" McDarment Jr. of Madison; and five grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three sons, James Louis Higgins, Michael Allen Higgins and Mark Steven Higgins; her parents; and three sisters, Darlene McDarment, Janet Rowlinson and Mary Sue Callis.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Lytle Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Brooksburg Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. until the service.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the Madison-Jefferson County Animal Shelter. Contribution cards are available at the funeral home.

Jess W. Maiden, 68, of Carrollton, Ky., died Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2013, at Green Valley Health and Rehabilitation Center in Carrollton, Ky.
