Terri Livorno

Terri Lee Conner Livorno, 48, of Madison, died Friday, Jan. 4, 2013, at The Waters of Clifty Falls.

She was born Dec. 2, 1964, in Evansville, the daughter of Alfred Lee and Mary Jo Stodgehill Conner. She resided her early life in Tennessee and moved to Jefferson County in 1983. She was a graduate of Southwestern High School. She was united in marriage on June 30, 1984, to Ron Livorno. She worked as a teacher's aide with the Madison Consolidated School System and spent time at E.O. Muncie Elementary. She also worked in private child care. She was affiliated with Faith Lutheran Church and Madison Assembly of God. She enjoyed reading, writing short stories and poetry. She also enjoyed scary movies and being with her children.

She is survived by two sons, Chad Livorno and Parker Livorno, both of Madison; one daughter, Samantha Livorno of Madison; two brothers, Mike Conner of Tennessee and Rick Conner of Evansville; one grandson; and one niece.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, Timothy Conner.

A celebration of life service will be at 6 p.m. Wednesday at Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre.

Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday from 4 p.m. until the service.

Donald R. McClure, 75, of North Vernon, formerly of Madison, died Sunday, Jan. 6, 2013, at his residence.

Margaret Susnick

Margaret Ellen Susnick, 80, of Austin, died Friday, Jan. 4, 2013, in Austin.

She was born Sept. 2, 1932, in Manchester, Ky., the daughter of William and Vernon Hacker Coldiron. She was a graduate of Tampico High School and earned a master's degree from Indiana University. She was a retired school teacher. She taught for 34 years with Scott School District 2 and for 13 years with Crothersville School District. She was a member of and played piano at Alliance Bible Church in Crothersville. She was a former member of Tampico Christian Church. She was a member of the Scott Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, the National Education Association and the Indiana State Teachers Association. She was also a member of Phi Beta Psi Theta Nu Chapter of Crothersville for more than 50 years.

She is survived by her husband, Logan Sunick; one son, Will Susnick of Tampico; and two grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. today at Stewart & Hoagland Funeral Home, 80 N. First St., Scottsburg. Burial will be in Austin Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home today from 11 a.m. until the service.

Alma Welch

Alma Muriel Taylor Welch, 87, of Bedford, Ky., died Friday, Jan. 4, 2013, at the Norton Brownsboro Hospital in Louisville, Ky.

She was born March 31, 1925, in Carroll County, Ky., the daughter of Verni and Mary Alice Jones Taylor. She was a retired sales clerk for the former Lerman Brothers Department Store and a homemaker. She was a member of the Union Grove Christian Church.

She is survived by one daughter, Deborah Lynn Welch McCane of Milton, Ky.; one son, Brewier Wayne "Berky" Welch of Wesley Chapel, Fla.; three sisters, Lena Edwards of Milton, Ky., Dorothy Williams of Morristown, Tenn., and Lola Vories of Campbellsburg, Ky.; six grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Myrle Glenn Welch, whom she married March 12, 1945, and who died Jan. 28, 2009; her parents; two sisters, Florence Shafer and Mary Lee Thomas; and four brothers, Roy Gene Taylor, Clifford Taylor, J.W. Taylor and Lloyd Taylor.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home in Carrollton, Ky. Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery of Carrollton, Ky.
