George Robert "Bobby" Fresh, 88, of Hanover, died Wednesday, June 12, 2013, at his residence.

Wauneta Giltner

Wauneta L. Brown Giltner, 83, of Madison, died Tuesday, June 11, 2013, at Hickory Creek of Madison.

She was born Nov. 10, 1929, in Vevay, to Chester and Clara Scott Brown. She was raised and attended school in Vevay. She was united in marriage on July 6, 1944, to Jewel "Red" Giltner. She was a homemaker. She moved to Madison in the early 1960s. She loved animals, especially her dogs.

She is survived by two daughters, Christy Bayne and Joyce Giltner, both of Madison; six sons, Steve Giltner of Brooksburg, Garry Giltner of Madison, Terry Giltner of Vincennes, Danny Giltner of Madison, Rocky Giltner of Bluffton and Timmy Giltner of New Iberia, La.; 20 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father; her mother, Clara Scott Brown Korf; and one sister, Helen Humes.

No services are planned.

Shirley Scott

Shirley Grubbs Scott, 73, of Dillsboro, formerly of East Enterprise, died Tuesday, June 11, 2013, at The Waters of Dillsboro.

She was born April 14, 1940, in Guilford, to Elbert and Clara Sefton Grubbs. She was raised in East Enterprise and Guilford, attending school in Guilford. She enjoyed being a homemaker. Following her husband's death she moved to Lawrenceburg.

She is survived by two sons, Austin Scott and Gerry Scott, both of Aurora; and three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward D. "Bo" Scott, whom she married June 6, 1960, and who died July 22, 2002; two sons, Danny Lee Scott and Teddy Scott; her parents; five sisters, Mary Baker, Margie Ballard, Gladys Clark, Bess Dall and Mabel Steele; and four brothers, Floyd Grubbs, Donald Grubbs, Norman Grubbs and James Grubbs.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home in Vevay. Burial will be in Vevay Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home Friday from 10 a.m. until the service.
