Carolyn "Twig" Peak, 76, of Madison, died Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2013, at King's Daughters' Hospital.
She was born Dec. 2, 1936, in Indianapolis, the daughter of Cecil L. and Dorothy J. Hill Trowbridge. She graduated from Manuel High School in Indianapolis. She was the office manager for the City of Madison Street Department for many years. She retired from the Jefferson County Clerk's Office after many years of service. She was a member of the Prince of Peace Catholic Church, Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion and the Jefferson County Democrat Party. She was a fan of Indiana University basketball, the Indianapolis Colts, hydroplane racing and going to "the boat." She also enjoyed spending time with her friends.
She is survived by four sons, Larry Peak, Michael Peak and Brian Peak, all of Madison, and Richard Peak of Indianapolis; one sister, Shirley Taylor of Indianapolis; 12 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
The funeral service will be private.
Friends may call from 3 to 6 p.m. Saturday at the Lytle Funeral Chapel.

William C. "Bill" Rowlison, 74, of Madison, died Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2013, at Hickory Creek of Madison.
He was born June 13, 1938, in Madison, the son of John Calvin and Helen B. Larimore Rowlison. He resided in Brooksburg all of his life and was a 1956 graduate of Central High School. He was employed with the United States Post Office as a letter carrier in Madison for 35 years and 28 days. He also worked as a driver for M & M Towing for 18 years. He was a member of the Brooksburg United Methodist Church and the Madison Moose Lodge 765. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, watching television, traveling and playing cards. He also enjoyed auto racing, especially Dale Earnhardt and Joey Kramer.
He is survived by two daughters, Bonnie Louise Jones of Hanover and Sherry Lin Birge of Madison; two sons, William Gregory Rowlison of Madison and John Jeffrey Rowlison of Canaan; one brother, Bruce Rowlison of Madison; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Janet McDarment Rowlison, whom he married Oct. 13, 1956, and who died June 28, 1990; his father, who died Sept. 3, 1957; and his mother, who died June 17, 2009.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre. Burial will be in Brooksburg Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home Saturday from 4 to 8 p.m. and Sunday from noon until the service. The Moose Lodge 765 will conduct a service at 7 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
