William F. Adams, 77, of Madison, died Sunday, March 12, 2017, at Norton Hospital in Louisville, Ky.

Patricia Cutshaw

Patricia Ann Cutshaw, 66, of Worthille, Ky., died Friday, March 10, 2017, at her residence.

She was born Feb. 23, 1951, in Chicago, Ill., to Paul Cornelious and Zelma Brown. She was a homemaker. She was of the Catholic faith.

She is survived by two sons, Rodney Hawkins of Carrollton, Ky., and Kevin Hawkins of Shelbyville, Ky.; one brother, Bernie Lozier of Dry Ridge, Ky.; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father; her mother; her stepfather who raised her, Ershal Rodney Collins; one brother, Nick Hale; and one great-granddaughter.

The funeral will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home in Carrollton, Ky. Burial will be in Squiresville Cemetery in Perry Park, Ky.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home .

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. Contributions can be made through the funeral home.

Mary Sue Demaree

Mary Sue McBrayer Demaree, 87, of Madison died Friday, March 10, 2017, at Thornton Terrace Health Campus in Hanover.

She was born Feb. 28, 1930, in Rockholds, Ky., to Charles and Susie Bennett McBrayer. She was a housewife, and also did housekeeping and babysitting for others. She enjoyed the outdoors, gardening, senior dances, quilting and canning peaches, green beans, crab apples and tomatoes. She was a member of King’s Daughters’ Hospital In As Much Circle, Rebekah Club and the Madison Chapter of Eastern Star. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and formerly a member of North Madison Baptist Church. She lived in Madison for more than 60 years

She is survived by three daughters, Susan Demaree Buchanan, Charlotte K. Demaree Conrad and Cynthia Jean Demaree, all of Madison; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lester Leroy Demaree, whom she married Sept. 8, 1950, and who he died July 21, 2000; her husband, Dale B. Taylor, who died Feb. 4, 2014; her parents; four sisters, Delania Warren, Christine Griffin, Myrtle Cupp and Emily McKeehan; two brothers, Charles McBrayer and James McBrayer; and one granddaughter.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre. Burial will be in Grandview Memorial Gardens.

Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m. and Thursday from 10 a.m. until the service.

Martha Laswell

Martha Hudgins Laswell, 93, of Louisville, Ky., formerly of Carrollton, Ky., died Saturday, March 11, 2017, at her daughter’s residence in Louisville, Ky.

She was born May 6, 1923, in Carroll County, Ky., to John Davis and Sarah Jane Merrill Hudgins. She worked at the A.H. Wirz/Teledyne Tube Factory in Carrollton, Ky., for 18 years. She was also a homemaker. She enjoyed quilting and gardening. She was a member of North Bullitt Christian Church in Shepherdsville, Ky.

She is survived by three daughters, Betty Kinley of Louisville, Ky., Elaine Perry of New Albany and Patty Kemper of Carrollton, Ky.; two stepsons, Joe Laswell and Steve Laswell, both of Shepherdsville, Ky.; 10 grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Laswell, who died Feb. 1, 2007; her parents; two sisters, Margaret Smith and Pauline Ray; three brothers, Chester “Boots” Fancher, Robert Hudgins and Raymond Hudgins; and two grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home in Carrollton, Ky. Burial will be in the Ghent Masonic Cemetery.

Gloria Morgan

Gloria Mae Tingle Morgan, 76, of Pendleton, Ky., died Friday, March 10, 2017, in Trimble County, Ky.

She was born Oct. 10, 1940, in LaGrange, Ky., to Ottaway and Rosezella Klineline Tingle. She was a secretary for her husband’s plumbing business and also worked on the family farm. She was a member of Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church and also served as secretary for the United Methodist Conference. She enjoyed volunteering with 4-H.

She is survived by one daughter, Priscilla Morgan of Pendleton, Ky.; two sisters, Wanda Faye West of Hodgenville, Ky., and Allie Jean Long of Pendleton, Ky.; one granddaughter; and several other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Morgan; and her parents.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Ransdell Funeral Home in Bedford, Ky. Burial will be in Bedford Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 5 to 8 p.m. today and Tuesday from 9 a.m. until the service.
