William L. "Bill" Bruegge, 88, of Versailles, died Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2013, at his residence.
He was born Sept. 24, 1924, in St. Bernard, Ohio, the son of William Daniel and Mary Magdelene Witzeman Bruegge He served in the Army during World War II. He was a member of St. John Catholic Church in Osgood. He enjoyed collecting things and reading. He also enjoyed farming and taking care of his dog, Boots.
He is survived by 10 nieces and nephews, Eilene Henne, Steve Bruegge, Bruce Bruegge, Tony Bruegge, Mary Kesterman, Tom Bruegge, Bob Bruegge, Maria Perry, Martin Bruegge and Marilyn Yoe; and several other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and four brothers, Lawrence, Richard, Francis and Daniel.
A funeral mass will be at 1 p.m. Monday at St. Charles Catholic Church in Milan. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in St. Bernard, Ohio. Military honors will be conducted.
Friends may call at the church Monday from 11 a.m. until the service.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to a veterans association, the Ripley County Humane Society, St. John Catholic Church or St. Charles Catholic Church. Contributions can be made through Rullman Hunger Funeral Home in Aurora.

Barbara J. Rassman, 66, of Bedford, Ky., died Friday, March 1, 2013, at her residence.

Robert Rogers Jr.
Robert Morrison "Robbie" Rogers Jr., 43, of Worthville, Ky., died Thursday, Feb. 28, 2013, at the University of Louisville Hospital in Louisville, Ky.
He was born Aug. 11, 1969, in Frankfort, Ky., the son of Robert M. Sr. and Reba Joyce Couch Rogers. He worked as a corrections officer at the Luther Luckett Corrections Center in LaGrange, Ky. He was a member of the Family Worship Center in Carrollton, Ky. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and golfing.
He is survived by one son, Jesse Dillon Rogers of Ghent, Ky.; two daughters, Kaylee Nichole Rogers of Warsaw, Ky. and Serenity Angel Rogers of Worthville, Ky.; his mother and step father, Reba Joyce Sharon and Larry D. Sharon of Worthville, Ky.; three brothers, Gregory Thomas Rogers of Frankfort, Ky., Joshua James Sharon of Worthville, Ky. and Christopher Franklin Rogers of Tuscon, Ariz.; and his paternal grandmother, Dorothy Sharon of Worthville, Ky.
He was preceded in death by his father; his maternal grandparents, Frank and Mary Bishop Couch; and his paternal grandfather, Roy Sharon.
The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Family Worship Center in Carrollton, Ky. Burial will be in Dallasburg Masonic Cemetery in Wheatley, Ky.
Friends may call the church from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the solutions youth group. Contributions can be made through Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home in Carrollton, Ky., which is in charge of arrangements.

Mary E. Stewart McCormick Stout, 90, of Hanover, died Friday, March 1, 2013, at the Thornton Terrace Health Campus.

Lois Mae Taylor Wright, 94, of Bedford, Ky., died Thursday, Feb. 28, 2013, at Signature Healthcare in Bedford, Ky.
She was born April 15, 1918, in Carroll County, Ky., the daughter of Daniel Boone and Anna Laura Mosgrove Taylor. She attended Locust School and Carrollton High School. Following her marriage, she moved to Trimble County, where she lived for the rest of her life. She helped her husband on their farm. She also raised a large garden and canned vegetables. She enjoyed cooking for family and friends and hosting dinners. She also enjoyed animals and feeding birds. She was baptized at Hopewell Baptist Church at an early age.
She is survived by one daughter, Janice Layne Wright of Madison; one brother, Dale B. Taylor of Madison; one sister, Patty Taylor Imel of Madison; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, H.L "Lec" Wright, whom she married May 3, 1936; her parents; one half brother, Keith Taylor; and one half sister, Doris J.Callihan
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Ransdell Funeral Home in Bedford, Ky. Burial will be in Bedford Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home Monday from 11:30 a.m. until the service.
