Ruth Buckreus, 88, of Madison, formerly of Cincinnati, Ohio, died Friday, May 3, 2013, at Jewel House.
She was born July 10, 1924, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to William and Leona Zinser Brauch. She had resided in Madison since 2009 to be near her daughter.
She is survived by one son, Jim Buckreus; two daughters, Julie Maas of Madison and Janis Harges; one sister, Hilda Beiersdorfer; and six grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Buckreus, whom she married March 3, 1945; one son, John Buckreus; her parents; one sister, Edythe Barnes; and one brother, William Brauch.
The funeral will be at noon Friday at St. Ignatius of Loyola Church in Cincinnati, Ohio. Burial will be in St. James Cemetery on White Oak in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Friends may call at the Rebold Rosenacker and Sexton Funeral Home in Cincinnati, Ohio, on Friday from 10 to 11:30 a.m.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the Parkinson's Wellness Chapter. Contribution cards are available at the funeral home in Cincinnati, Ohio, and at Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, which is in charge of local arrangements.

Mildred F. "Millie" Buxton, 78, of Des Moines, Iowa, died Tuesday, May 7, 2013, in Des Moines, Iowa.
She was born March 24, 1935, in Counce, Tenn., to Sidney and Loraine Hammock. She moved to Lebanon, Tenn., and later Des Moines, Iowa. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
She is survived by her husband, Joe Buxton, formerly of Hanover; three sons, Barry Phelps, Jim Phelps and Brett Phelps; one sister, Barbara Rumbley of Lebanon, Tenn.; one brother, Sidney Hammock of Conway, Ark; and eight grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Charles Suite; one son, Ronnie Suite; and her parents.
The funeral will be at noon Saturday at the Grandview Church of Christ in Des Moines, Iowa. Burial will be in the Iowa Veterans Cemetery in Adel, Iowa.
Friends may call at the church Friday from 5 to 8 p.m.
Grandview Park Funeral Home in Des Moines, Iowa, is in charge of arrangements.

A memorial service for Phyllis Joan "Annie" Delaney, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Vail-Holt Funeral Home. A reception will follow the service at Crooked Creek Senior Community Park.

Delaney, 72, of Madison, died Friday, March 22, 2013, at her residence.

Ann K. Ellis, 75, of Madison, died Wednesday, May 8, 2013, at her residence.

Baxter B. McGee, 63, of Madison, died Monday, May 6, 2013, at the Veterans Affairs Hospital in Louisville, Ky.
He was born Oct. 25, 1949, in Madison, to Baxter E. and Erma A. Furnish McGee. He was an Army veteran, serving two tours in Vietnam. He was a tow-boat captain for Commercial Barge Lines for more than 30 years. He had his tow-boat pilot's license from 1980, until his retirement in 2010. He was a member of the Tri State County Club. He enjoyed gardening, woodwork, fishing and reading. He also enjoyed the outdoors and helping his friends.
He is survived by one sister, Ruth A Lapine of Madison; and one nephew.
He was preceded in death by his father; his mother; and one nephew.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Lytle Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Dupont Cemetery. Military honors will be conducted graveside by Jefferson Post 9 of the American Legion.
Friends may call at the funeral home Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. until the service.
