William Jackson

William Robert "Billy" Jackson, 41, of North Vernon, died Monday, Nov. 12, 2012, at St. Vincent Jennings Hospital in North Vernon.

He was born May 4, 1971, in Columbus, the son of Richard Lucas and Linda Graham. He attended Jennings County High School. He worked for SpaceGuard in Seymour in the research and development department for security cages. He was a member of Butlerville Mennonite Church in Butlerville. He enjoyed singing karaoke, being a DJ, watching Indianapolis Colts football, racing and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Andrea Franks Jackson, whom he married Feb. 24, 1997; his father, of Columbus; his mother, of North Vernon; three sons, Lucas Jackson, Quinton Jackson and Raiden Jackson, all of North Vernon; one daughter, Morgan Jackson of North Vernon; three brothers, Michael Jackson of North Vernon, Charles Jackson of Scipio and Zach Lucas of Columbus; three sisters, Heather Cheesebrew of Butlerville, Melissa Hatton of North Vernon and Margaret Short of Madison.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Perry and Alta Lucas, and Mary Graham.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Service in North Vernon. Burial will be in Vernon Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. and Friday from 10 a.m. until the service.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations toward funeral expenses. Contributions can be made through the funeral home.

Rick Morgan, 57, of Madison, died Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2012, at King's Daughters' Hospital.
