Larry Wayne "Bubba" Dunlap, 66, of Madison, died Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2013, at King's Daughters' Hospital.
He was born Nov. 17, 1946, in LaGrange, Ky., to Buford and Lorene "Tootsie" Bray Dunlap. He spent his early life in Kentucky and was a 1965 graduate of Madison Consolidated High School. He served in the Army and Army Reserves from 1966 to 1976. He was united in marriage to Margaret Shake in 1966. He began work at Reliance Electric in 1966 and worked there for many years. He also worked in car sales, working with Hadley Chevrolet, Freedom Nissan and Herb Kinman dealerships. He was a member of Jefferson Post 9 of the American Legion and the Madison Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1969. He was also a member of the Madison Moose Lodge 765. He enjoyed socializing with his friends, watching NASCAR, the University of Kentucky Wildcats, the Indianapolis Colts and the Denver Broncos. He also enjoyed the Ohio River and hosting a Madison Regatta party. He liked to hunt, fish and spend time in the outdoors.
He is survived by one daughter, Kristie Tidball of Cincinnati, Ohio; three sisters, Diane Simpson of Madison, Sue Barnes of Bedford, Ky. and Pamela Harris of Madison; one brother, Mark Dunlap of Madison; four grandchildren; one great-grandson; 12 nieces and nephews; and several other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his father; his mother; and one nephew.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre.
Friends may call at the funeral home Saturday from 4 to 8 p.m. and Sunday from noon until the service.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the Madison Riverfront Development Project or the Lide White Memorial Boys & Girls Club/Family & Community Center. Contributions can be made through the funeral home.

Timothy Wayne "Tim" Laughlin, 53, of Madison, died Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2013, at his residence.
He was born Nov. 8, 1960, in Madison, to Clarence "C.B." and Opal Faye Winslow Laughlin. He resided most of his life in Madison and attended Madison Consolidated High School. He was united in marriage in 1989 to Kim Stillwell. He worked for many years as a painter and enjoyed owning his own company, Tim's Painting and Restoration. He worked for three years with Arvin Sango and then for 14 years with J.L. Manta with Dow Corning. He was a member of the Allied Painter's Union and the Jefferson Post 9 Sons of the American Legion. Early in life he attended Lick Branch Baptist Church near Deputy. He enjoyed boat racing and golfing. He was a fan of Indiana University basketball, and football.
He is survived by his companion of 12 years, Carol O'Neal of Madison; two daughters, Kathryn Kocak and Samantha Ann Laughlin, both of Columbus, Ohio; one step daughter, Gennafre Quinlan of Columbus, Ohio; four sisters, Delores Ann Aldridge and Mary Kay Thompson, both of Madison, Bonnie Zearing of Lexington and Janie Knox of Vevay; one brother, Jack Laughlin of Madison; and 13 nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his grandparents, Clarence W. and Aggie Laughlin, and Albert and Lillian Winslow; and one niece.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre. Burial will be in Lick Branch Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. until the service.

Kathy Dian "Kate" Meyers Tilley, 57, of Waverly, N.Y., died Monday, Nov. 11, 2013, at Elderwood Nursing Facility in Waverly, N.Y.
She was born May 6, 1956, in Blanchester, Ohio, to Wanda Jean Hamm and Merril Donald Meyers. She entered the foster care system at a young age and was raised by George and Jana Howell. She attended Pope John XXIII Elementary School and Madison Consolidated High School. She was a 20-year employee of Chemite Inc. in Chemung, N.Y. Since 2009 she resided in the Elderwood Nursing Home in Waverly, N.Y. She enjoyed being with her family, music, crafts and shopping.
She is survived by one daughter, April Diane Tilley of Elmira, N.Y.; her foster parents, George and Jana Howell of Chemung, N.Y., formerly of Madison; two sisters, Jennifer Moorehead of Waverly, N.Y. and Kelly Ganci of Cary, N.C. ; one brother, Eric Howell of Lockwood, N.Y.; three grandsons; four nieces; and two nephews.
A celebration of life service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. James Catholic Church in Waverly, N.Y. Burial will be in the Chemung Cemetery, Chemung, N.Y.
Friends may call Friday from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Blauvelt Funeral Home, 625 Broad Street, Waverly, N.Y.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the American Diabetes Association or a charity of the donor's choice.
