Georgia Ellen Roberts Keith, 80, of Verona, Ky., formerly of Switzerland County, died Friday, Nov. 15, 2013, at her residence.
She was born on Aug. 10, 1933, in Ethridge, Ky., to Richard and Violet Roberts. She attended school in Warsaw and New Haven High School in Union, Ky., and Holmes High School in Covington, Ky. She was an inspector for the U.S. Shoe Factory in Vevay for 10 years, a waitress at the Cincinnati Bus Station, and a machine operator for Cincinnati Pump Company. She lived in Switzerland County until 1990, when she moved to Boone County, Ky. She was a member of the Eastern Star in Warsaw, Ky., and attended New Bethel Baptist Church in Verona, Ky. She was an avid reader, enjoyed Sunday school, traveling and dining with friends and family.
She is survived by two sons, Robert Allen Keith of Union, Ky., and Gary Wayne Keith of Deputy, Ind.; a daughter, Deborah Val Keith of Verona, Ky.; five grandchildren; seven grandchildren and two nieces.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Louis Robert Keith, whom she married Aug. 22, 1953 and who died March 29, 1982.; two sons, Michael Ray Keith, who died in 1969, and Darrell Lee Keith, who died in 1984.
The funeral will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home in Vevay.
Friends may call 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or New Bethel Baptist Church. Contribution cards will be available at the funeral home.

Beth Elaine Smith, 73, of Scipio, died Thursday, Nov. 14, 2013, in Louisville, Ky.
She was born on Nov. 22, 1939, in Rocky River, Ohio, to George C. and Grace J. Sorensen Jones. She was a 1957 graduate of Prescott High School in Prescott, Ariz. She was a homemaker. She was a former 20-year member of the House of Prayer in Elizabethtown. She enjoyed sewing, cross-stitching, gardening, reading and traveling.
She is survived by one son, Kenneth Smith Jr. of Jacksonville, Fla.; two daughters, Jessica Corum of Louisville, Ky., and Desiree' Bennett of St. Louis, Mo.; one sister, Sharon Louise Davis of Oklahoma City, Okla.; eight grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Kenneth J. Smith Sr., whom she married on Dec. 8, 1957, and who died on Feb. 24, 2010; and her parents.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services in North Vernon. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery in Jennings County.
