Steven Coker

Steven W. Coker, 52, of Madison, died Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2012, at University of Louisville Hospital.

He was born June 18, 1960, in Fort Wayne, the son of Isom and Alma Jean Kinman Coker. He moved to Madison from Fort Wayne in 1965. He was employed in die cast maintenance with Madison Precision Products for 17 years. He previously worked with Madison Plating Inc. for 21 years. He enjoyed Indiana University basketball, watching hunting and fishing, playing practical jokes, playing cards and playing basketball in his youth.

He is survived by his wife, Dawn Brewer Coker, whom he married Nov. 18, 1978; two daughters, Mitzi Dempler of Madison and Tacia Torres of Dallas, Texas; one son, Jordan Coker of Madison; one brother, Kenny Coker of Madison; one sister, Carolyn Callis of Madison; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Robert Coker; and one sister, Barbara Coker.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Lytle Funeral Chapel. Burial will be private at a later date.

Friends may call the funeral home Saturday from 5 to 8 p.m. and Sunday from 1 p.m. until the service.

Rose Mary Reddy Stucker, 92, of Madison, died Thursday, Nov. 29, 2012, at King's Daughters' Hospital.
