Melessa Ann Jackson Chisholm, 45, of Carrollton, Ky., died Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2012, at the University of Louisville Hospital in Louisville, Ky.
Funeral arrangements and additional information are pending at Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home in Carrollton, Ky.
Laura Mae Chadwell Clubb, 79, of Madison, died Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2012, at King's Daughters' Hospital.
She was born March 1, 1933, in Madison, the daughter of Cecil and Mary Gray Chadwell. She resided most of her life in Jefferson County. She and her husband were the retired owners of Gayle Clubb & Sons Inc., which provided backhoe and water line service in Jefferson County and surrounding areas for more than 40 years. She enjoyed fishing, the outdoors, and being with family and friends. She was a member of Hebron Baptist Church, the Eagles Lodge 1158, Jefferson Post 9 of the American Legion Auxiliary and the Madison Moose Lodge 765.
She is survived by two daughters, Donna Clubb Martin of Madison and Debbie Ford of Dupont; three sons, Dennis Clubb of Greensburg and Rodney Clubb and Robert Clubb, both of Madison; one brother, Harry G. Chadwell of Madison; 12 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gayle Clubb, whom she married Nov. 13, 1950, and who died July 6, 2000; her parents; four sisters, Lois Chadwell, Betty Canfield, Mary LaPine Hillard and Opal Gumm; and one brother, Walter Chadwell.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre. Burial will be in Grandview Memorial Gardens.
Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday from 5 to 8 p.m. and Monday from 9 a.m. until the service.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the American Lung Association or the American Diabetes Association. Contribution cards are available at the funeral home.
