Melessa Ann Jackson Chisholm, 45, of Carrollton, Ky., died Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2012, at the University of Louisville Hospital in Louisville, Ky.
She was born May 7, 1967, in Carrollton, Ky., the daughter of Lloyd W. and Stella L. Fox Jackson. She was a graduate of Carroll County High School and was a former factory worker and floral designer. She was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by her husband, Joseph Chisholm; one daughter, Janee Short of Carrollton, Ky.; one son, Gene Willhoite of Carrollton, Ky.; her parents, of Carrollton, Ky.; one brother, Terry L. Jackson of Carrollton, Ky.; and one granddaughter.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Family Worship Center in Carrollton, Ky. Burial will be in English Cemetery in Carrollton, Ky.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at the worship center.
Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home in Carrollton, Ky., is in charge of arrangements.

William Cisco McLelland, 71, of Frankfort, Ky., died Friday, Oct. 12, 2012, at St. Josephys Hospital in Lexington, Ky.
Funeral arrangements and additional information are pending at Lytle Funeral Chapel.
Richard L. "Dick" Mosier, 75 of Lexington, died Friday, Oct. 12, 2012, at his residence.
He was born Jan. 13, 1937, in Scottsburg, the son of George Doyle and Beulah Bush Mosier. He was a retired engine tester for Cummins Engine Co. in Columbus, Seymour and Walesboro. He was a member of Kimberlin Creek Baptist Church and Little York Lodge 512 F & AM, and was a 10-year veteran of the Indiana National Guard.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Surber Mosier; one daughter, Debbie Mosier, of Austin; two sons, Mike Mosier of Scottsburg and Rick Mosier of Lexington; one sister, Judith A. Rutherford of Salem; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 11a.m. Monday at Kimberlin Creek Baptist Church. Burial will be in Kimberlin Creek Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg and after 9 a.m. Monday at the church.

Muriel I. Sherwood, 94, of Nashville, Tenn., formerly of Madison, died Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2012.
She is survived by one daughter, Linda Patricia Sherwood; two sons, David Allen Sherwood and Philip Karl Sherwood; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Karl H. Sherwood, and two grandsons.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. today at Woodbine Funeral Home, Hickory Chapel, 5852 Nolensville Road, Nashville, Tenn. Burial will be at noon Sunday at Grandview Memorial Gardens in Madison.
Friends may call at the funeral home today from 10 a.m. until the service.
Barbara M. Ledbetter Young, 62, of Hanover, died Friday, Oct. 12, 2012, at King's Daughters' Hospital.
Funeral arrangements are pending at Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home in Vevay.
