Peggy Sandra Holt Campbell, 67, of Louisville, Ky., died Monday, Sept. 9, 2013, at Baptist Health.
She was born in 1945, in San Francisco, Calif., to Fred Sr. and Ethel Carter Holt. She was raised in Madison. She received her bachelor's and master's degrees from the Indiana University School of Social Work. She worked for the Indiana Child Protective Services, Visiting Nurse Associations, Central State Hospital of Indiana and Bingham Child Guidance Center. Following her retirement she volunteered at Pinotti's Flower Market. She was a member of the National Association of Social Workers and the Indiana University Alumni Association. She attended St. Paul United Methodist Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Carmen Suzanne Goffinet Thomas and Jennifer Paige Goffinet Canter; two brothers, Robert Holt and Fred Holt Jr.; six grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and one sister, Carol Ann Campbell.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Highlands Funeral Home in Louisville, Ky. Burial will be in Cave Hill Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the Bingham Child Guidance Center or the Alzheimer's Association.

A memorial service for William E. "Pinhead" Goins will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Vail Funeral Chapel.
Goins, 84, of Ft. Myers, Fla., formerly of Madison, died Wednesday, July 31, 2013, at his residence.
Friends may call at the funeral home Saturday from 10 a.m. until the service. Western Fire Company 3 will conduct a special service Saturday at the funeral home.
Inurnment will be in the Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Military honors will be conducted graveside by Jefferson Post 9 of the American Legion.

Rosemary Mattern, 71, of Madison, died Monday, Sept. 9, 2013, at King's Daughters' Hospital.
She was born June 18, 1942, in Chicago, Ill., to William and Rose Reibel Kramp. She graduated from Saint Benedict's Catholic elementary and high schools in Chicago. She was a homemaker and a member of the Prince Of Peace Catholic Church. She enjoyed reading, watching the Chicago Bears, watching many television shows, playing bingo and caring for her grandchildren.
She is survived by one daughter, Kelly M. Mattern of Madison; one son, Chris Mattern of Madison; and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William "Bill" Mattern; her parents; and one brother, Gerard Kramp.
A service will be held at a later date.

Sue McDole, 83, of Carrollton, Ky., died Sunday, Sept. 8, 2013, at her residence.
She was born March 30, 1930, in Carrollton, Ky., to Pete and Emma Raisor Briley. She was a housewife. She was a member of the Cove Hill Baptist Church and the Rebekah Lodge.
She is survived by one daughter, Linda Clark of Carrollton, Ky.; one sister, Ruth Briley of Carrollton, Ky.; two grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Howard McDole; one infant daughter, Betty Jean McDole; her parents; four sisters, Belle Adams, Jennie Jones, Leah Reebes and Flossie Briley; and three brothers, Luke Briley, Henry Briley and Bill Briley.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Cremation was chosen.
Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home in Carrollton, Ky., is in charge of arrangements.

Jean Hughes Nay, 79, of Madison, died Monday, Sept. 9, 2013, at The Waters of Clifty Falls.
She was born April 10, 1934, in Aurora, to James and Lillian Nordica Perkins Hughes. She was raised in and graduated from high school in the Dillsboro community. She and her husband farmed together for many years near Canaan. She was a member of the Indian-Kentuck Baptist Church near Canaan and the American Baptist Women. She also served on the hospitality committee at church. She worked for many years as a custodian for Madison Consolidated Schools and as a hostess for the Pines Restaurant in Madison. She owned and operated the Victoria Inn with her son for several years. She enjoyed dancing, church work and spending time with her grandson.
She is survived by one son, Mark E. Nay of Madison; one sister, Lillian Wagner of Bowling Green, Ky.; one grandson; one great-granddaughter; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Edward Nay, whom she married Feb. 22, 1958, and who died Jan. 13, 1983; her parents; two brothers, James Harold Hughes and John Nelson Hughes; four sisters, Edith Ransom, Iona Margaret Luhrsen, Jacqueline Rininiger and Norma Marion Reuter.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Indian-Kentuck Baptist Church, 4413 E. County Road 925-N, Canaan. Burial will be in Canaan Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre on Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. and at the church Friday from 10 a.m. until the service.

Ronnie Grahm Parson, 66, of North Vernon, died Sunday, Sept. 8, 2013, at St. Vincent Jennings Hospital in North Vernon.
He was born Nov. 4, 1946, in Madison, to Otis and Dorothy Harmon Parson. He was a 1963 graduate of Trimble County High School. He worked as a painter of industrial machines for Envirex in Madison, retiring in 1999 after 33 years of service. He was a former member of the Eagles Lodge in Madison. He attended Mt. Tabor Methodist Church in Bedford, Ky. He enjoyed watching television and sports, and his cats.
He is survived by his wife, Jean Hunteman Parson, whom he married Aug. 3, 1979; two children, Shannon Obendorf of Libertyville, Ill., and Beth Rice of Lebanon; three grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, James Parson; and one sister, Norma Sutter.
A memorial service will be at 7 p.m. today at Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services in North Vernon.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 6:30 p.m. until the time of the service today.

Cleon J. Griffin Roberts, 77, of Madison, died Tuesday, Sept. 10, 2013, at Thornton Terrace Health Campus in Hanover.
