Mary Lee Montgomery, 79, of Carrollton, Ky., died Tuesday, Sept. 3, 2013, at Green Valley Health and Rehabilitation Center in Carrollton, Ky.
Funeral arrangements and additional information are pending at Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home in Carrollton, Ky.
Sue Jane Kamerdiener Paul, 85, of Hanover, formerly of Madison, died Monday, Sept. 2, 2013, at Thornton Terrace Health Campus in Hanover.
She was born Aug. 7, 1928, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to George J. and Pearl Eckles Kamerdiener. She was a 1946 graduate of Hughes High School in Cincinnati, Ohio. She attended The University of Cincinnati for three years. She was raised in Cincinnati, moved to Bowling Green, Ky.,, for several years and had resided in Madison since 1957. She was a social worker for the City of Cincinnati Recreation Commission for several years. She retired in 1997 after 31 years of service as an instructional assistant for the Madison Consolidated School System. She spent 25 years at the high school. She worked for many years with her husband, who was the executive director at the Lide White Boys Club in downtown Madison. She helped in many ways at the club, and even stayed overnight at the club, to make sure it was open for the boys on snow days or when school was out. She worked with Amway as a distributor for 25 years. She enjoyed the theater, crossword puzzles and traveling and her family. She also assisted for many years in the ticket office at MCHS ballgames. She was a member of the Madison Presbyterian Church, where she served as an elder and deacon. Sue was a member of the former American Business Women's Association, where she had served as president; the League of Women Voters; Historic Madison Inc.; the Jefferson County Chapter of OKI; Chapter of Boys Club Professional Association; the Jefferson County Chapter of the Red Hatter's Society; and the former Women's Club of Madison.
She is survived by two sons, Frank Paul of Wilmette, Ill. and John R. Paul of Frankfort, Ky.; three grandchildren; and one nephew.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John H. "J.P." Paul, whom she married June 7, 1952, and who died Nov. 22, 1993; her parents; one sister, Louise Schmidt; and one step granddaughter.
A celebration of life ceremony will be at 4 p.m. Thursday at Madison Presbyterian Church. Burial will be private in the Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
Friends may call at the church Thursday from 2 p.m. until the service.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the John and Sue Paul Scholarship Fund at the Lide White Memorial Boys & Girls Club. Contributions can be made through the funeral home.

Marc Rossignol Sr.
Marc Pierre Rossignol Sr., 56, of Houston, Texas, and West Haven, Conn., died Sunday, Sept. 1, 2013, in Madison.
He was born Feb. 11, 1957, in Parkersburg, W.Va., to Pierre Georges Jean and Joan Cunningham Rossignol. He graduated from high school and attended college in France.
He is survived by two daughters, Mary Rossignol of Houston, Texas, and Margo Rossignol of Hanover; one son, Marc P. Rossignol Jr. of Hanover; his mother of West Haven, Conn.; three brothers, Rex Rossignol and Jacques Rossignol, both of West Haven, Conn., and Jean R. Rossignol of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father.
A private service will be held at a later date. Burial will be in New Matamoras, Ohio.
Lytle Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
