Old Court Days highlights a weekend of fun

We're looking forward to a nice Memorial Day weekend with many activities available around the Courierarea. If you're looking for a good time, come downtown Friday night, Saturday and Sunday. A longtime favorite, Old Court Days, runs through Sunday around the Courthouse square. This is the 46th year for the festival.
The event features vendors offering everything from floral arrangements to handcrafted furniture. Old Court Days is a twice-a-year event, once in the spring and again during the Chautauqua weekend in September. The Pilot Club of Madison sponsors the event with proceeds going to help a variety of activities in the community.
The weatherman says we can expect a decent weekend, with on and off chances of showers.
We can expect many visitors to our city this weekend. As always, this is an opportunity for Madisonians to help promote the area as a great place to live and visit. Many Hoosiers and Kentuckians this year will again be looking for vacation destinations within a day's drive from their homes.
We can think of no better place than Madison to spend a weekend.
Have a great time ... and get ready for a summer filled with good reasons to celebrate the city we call home.
