VandeWater-Blincoe engagement announced

Debra Leigh VandeWater and Drew William Blincoe, both of Evansville, announce their engagement and December wedding.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Debra VandeWater and Marty VandeWater of Madison. She is the granddaughter of Aaron and Margaret Gingerich of Madison, and the late Harold A. and Frances VandeWater. She is a 2010 graduate of Madison Consolidated High School. She attended Ball State University for one year and is now taking courses at Ivy Tech Community College in Evansville. She is employed with Fazoli's.
The groom-to-be is the son of Stephanie McCormick of Evansville and the grandson of Karen McCormick of Evansville. He is a graduate of Heritage Hills High School and attended Ball State University for one year. He recently joined the Marine Corps and has been accepted to the Marine Band. He is currently attending the Navy School of Music at the Naval Amphibious Base Little Creek in Virginia and plans to graduate Dec. 7. Following his graduation and wedding, he will be based in San Diego, Calif.
The wedding is set for 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 15, 2012 at the First Baptist Church of Madison. A reception will follow the ceremony at 4:30 p.m. at the Indiana National Guard Armory in Madison. Invitations have been sent, but all family and friends are invited.
