    Odessa is a laid-back, self-sufficient kitten. She would like a home where she could hang out and do as she pleases. She was an outside cat until she came to the shelter. After she is spayed, she would like to be allowed outside to play and explore. The Madison-Jefferson County Animal Shelter currently has more than 12 dogs and puppies, and 20 cats and kittens available.     Cocoa, a one-year-old Labrador-Australian shepherd mix, is the newest addition to the Russell family. The dog is the new service animal for 24-year-old Richard Russell, who experiences severe seizures and also has autism.
