Dog obedience classes for 4-H participants will start at 5:30 p.m. March 3 at the Jefferson County 4-H Fairgrounds. First-year members should not bring their dog to the first meeting. Any child in Jefferson County in third through twelfth grade is eligible to participate in the 4-H Dog Project.

The class will begin on March 3, not on March 1 as was published Thursday.
Those interested should contact the Jefferson County Purdue Extension Office at (812) 265-8919 prior to March 1 to register. Participants will also need a 2014 certificate of vaccination form, which must be completed by a veterinarian and turned in at the March 1 meeting. For more information call (812) 528-5853.
