Christ Temple welcomes senior pastor, Rev. King

Christ Temple Community Church recently welcomed a new pastor. The church elected Rev. Fred R. King as their new senior pastor three weeks ago. King leaves a position as assistant pastor of Calvary Community Church in Columbus for the position in Madison.
King holds a master's degree in theology from Calvary Midwest Bible College and Theological Seminary and is an ordained minister of the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World.
He is also a graduate of Tuskegee University with a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering. He was a senior engineer with Cummins Inc. for 20 years. He is currently an adjunct instructor in mathematics at Ivy Tech Community College.
King's wife Rosslyn, is his partner in ministry and the new First Lady of the church. She earned a master's degree from Calvary Midwest Bible College and a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering from Wayne State University. The couple have three young adult children.
The church, located at 420 E. First St., in Madison, was founded in its present location 40 years ago by the late Suffragan Bishop Jesse T. Jenkins, and First Lady Evangelist Brenette Jenkins.
Worship services are held at 11:15 a.m. Sundays.
