Homemade Easter Eggs: The Relevant Church of Carrollton, Ky. will sell homemade Easter eggs April 7 and 8, and April 14 and 15 outside the VF Outlet at Butler Mall on KY 227 in Carrollton, Ky. Available flavors will include peanut butter, vanilla butter nut, cherry, coconut, opera cream, orange, maple, peppermint and raspberry. Small eggs are $1, medium are $3 and large are $6. Salvation Army: Will host its annual Easter egg hunt at 10 a.m. April 15 in Lorenz Park for children of all ages. For more information, call (812) 265-2157.

H.O.P.P.S. Easter Eggstravaganza: The third annual fundraiser will be held April 15 at Bicentennial Park with breakfast concessions available at 11 a.m. and a free egg hunt for those age 12 and younger at noon. Donations welcome. All proceeds benefit pediatric cancer patients and their families.

Care for Kids Easter Eggstravaganza: Will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 15 at the Jefferson County 4-H Fairgrounds. The event will include 16 activity booths, a visit from the Easter Bunny, an egg hunt outdoors, prizes, and candy bags for the first 400 children.. Admission is $4 per child. Concessions will also be available for purchase.

Easter Egg Hunt: New Bethel Church, 9248 W. New Bethel Road, Lexington, will host an Easter egg hunt with thousands of eggs filled with prizes and candy at 2 p.m. on April 15. The event will also include bicycle giveaways, family fun giveaways and other prizes for children ages 1 to 12.

Christ Episcopal Church: Will celebrate Maundy Thursday with a service at 7:30 p.m. April 13 with a service of Holy Eucharist with washing of the feet.

First Christian Church: The Disciples of Christ will host a Maundy Thursday service with communion at 7 p.m. April 13.

First Christian Church of Hanover: Will host a communion service at 7 p.m. on April 13.

Madison Presbyterian Church: Will host Maundy Thursday service at 7 p.m. April 13.

Paynesville Mt. Zion United Methodist Church: Will host a Maundy Thursday service at 6:30 p.m. April 13.

Prince of Peace: Will celebrate Holy Thursday with mass at 6 p.m. April 13 at Prince of Peace.

St. John’s United Church of Christ: Will host a Maundy Thursday service at 7 p.m. April 13.

Good Friday, April 14

Christ Episcopal Church: Will host a Good Friday service at 12:05 p.m. April 14 with prayers and the stations of the cross.

Hanover Baptist Church: Will host a Good Friday service at 6 p.m. April 14 at the church.

New Life Fellowship: Will host a Good Friday dinner at 7 p.m. April 14 at the church.

Paynesville Christian Church: Will host a candlelight service for Good Friday at 7 p.m. April 14. The service will include hymns, special music, meditation and the Lord’s Supper.

Prince of Peace: Will celebrate Good Friday on April 14 with a 1 p.m. service at the Most Sorrowful Mother of God in Vevay, a 3 p.m. service at Prince of Peace, a 5 p.m. Hispanic service featuring the living stations of the cross at St. Patrick’s Chapel, and the stations of the cross at 7 p.m. at St. Patrick’s Chapel.

Resurrection Lutheran Church: Will host a Good Friday service at 7 p.m. on April 14.

Trinity United Methodist Church: Will host a service to answer, “What Does This Friday Mean,” at 7 p.m. on April 14 at the church.

Holy Saturday, April 15

Christ Episcopal Church: Will host the Great Vigil of Easter at 8 p.m. on April 15.

New Life Fellowship: Will show a screening of the film “Passion of the Christ” at 6:30 p.m. on April 15 at the church with free concessions at 6 p.m.

Prince of Peace: Will host Easter vigil at 7 p.m. April 15 at Prince of Peace.

Easter Sunday, April 16

Christ Episcopal Church: Will host Easter services on April 16 with an 8 a.m. service featuring a quiet contemplative service of Holy Eucharist and at 10 a.m. featuring hymns of praise.

First Christian Church: The Disciples of Christ will host an Easter worship service at 10:30 a.m. on April 16.

First Christian Church of Hanover: Will host Easter worship at 10 a.m. April 16. Sunday school will be held prior to the service at 9 a.m.

Hanover Baptist Church: Will celebrate Easter on April 16 with a sunrise service at 7 a.m. followed by breakfast, before a worship service at 8 a.m., Sunday school at 9:15 a.m. and a second worship service at 10:30 a.m. No evening service is scheduled.

Madison Assembly of God: Will host Bible fellowship at 9 a.m. April 16, followed by a celebration of Easter with live music, children’s choir and a dramatic presentation at 10 a.m. For more information, visit www.magchurch.org.

Madison Kiwanis: Will host an Easter sunrise service at 7 a.m. April 16 at Bicentennial Park on Vaughn Drive. In case of rain, the event will be moved inside the Brown Gym.

Madison Presbyterian Church: Will host an Easter sunrise service at 7 a.m. April 16 behind the Clifty Falls State Park’s Clifty Inn.

New Life Fellowship Church: Will celebrate Easter on April 16 with breakfast at 10 a.m., followed by a worship service at 10:45 a.m.

North Madison Christian Church: Will host two Easter services on April 16 with a service at 8:45 a.m. and a second service at 11 a.m.

Paynesville Mt. Zion United Methodist Church: Will host an Easter service at 9:30 a.m. April 16 with an egg hunt to follow at 11 a.m. along with brunch in the fellowship hall.

Prince of Peace: Will celebrate Easter on April 16 with mass at 8 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. at Prince of Peace, at 10 a.m. at Most Sorrowful Mother of God in Vevay, at 11 a.m. at Prince of Peace and a Hispanic mass at 1 p.m. at St. Patrick’s Chapel.

Resurrection Lutheran Church: Will celebrate Easter with a breakfast at 8 a.m., followed by an egg hunt at 9 a.m. and a festival worship service at 10 a.m. on April 16.

St. John’s United Church of Christ: Will host an Easter sunrise service at 7 a.m. April 16 with breakfast to follow the service. A resurrection service will follow at 11 a.m.
