Second Chance Christmas: Bedford Christian Church will host a second chance Christmas at 7 p.m. Dec. 19 and Dec. 20. For more information call (502) 552-9853.
Taize: A Taize worship service will be held Dec. 20 at 6:30 p.m. at Hanover Presbyterian Church. Everyone is welcome. Taize services will be held on the first Friday of the month at Madison Presbyterian Church, 202 Broadway and on the third Friday of each month at Hanover Presbyterian Church, 174 East Main Street, Hanover.
Candlelight Service: Paynesville Christian Church will host a candlelight service at 7 p.m. Dec. 20 with special music, readings and communion.
Live Nativity: Milton Wesleyan Church, will host a live nativity from 6 to 9 p.m. Dec. 20-Dec. 22. For more information call (502) 268-3470.
Food Giveaway: North Madison Christian Church, 1400 State Road 62, will host a food giveaway from 8 to 11 a.m. Dec. 21.
Live Nativity: The youth of Paynesville Christian Church will portray Biblical characters during worship at 10:30 a.m. Dec. 22. Donations will be collected for World Mission Builders. Funds will be sent to the Philippines to help rebuild churches.

Children's Service: Hanover United Methodist Church will host a Children's service with kids in kindergarten through sixth grade from 3 to 4 p.m. Dec. 24.
Christmas Eve Mass: Will be held Dec. 24 at 4 p.m. at Most Sorrowful Mother of God, 513 N. Ferry St., Vevay.
Family Christmas Eve Service: Trinity United Methodist Church, 412 W. Main St., will host a Christmas eve service at 4 p.m. Dec. 24. The service is designed for families with young children and will feature special music from the praise band, songs of the season, a candle lighting for "Silent Night" and a Christmas meditation. A children's moment will be held and coloring books with crayons will be provided. As part of the service the church is asking children to bring a non-scary and non-noisemaking toy to the worship service. The toys will be blessed during worship. Christmas Eve Mass: Will be held Dec. 24 at Prince of Peace at 5:30 p.m. with the children's choir. Music will begin at 5 p.m. A second mass will be held at 7 p.m. with cantor and organ.
Christmas Eve Service: Madison Assembly of God, 1636 Clifty Drive, will host a Christmas eve service Dec. 24 at 5:30 p.m.

Christmas Eve Service: Liberty Christian Church, 8774 U.S. 421, will host a candlelight service Dec. 24 at 6:30 p.m. The service will also include a short children's program.
Traditional Christmas Eve Service: Trinity United Methodist Church, 412 W. Main St., will host a traditional Christmas eve service Dec. 24. with music starting at 7 p.m. and the worship service lasting from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. with scripture, Christmas carols, special music selections, Christmas meditation and music from the chancel choir. The service will also include the lighting of individual candles to "Silent Night." A children's moment will be held and coloring books with crayons will be provided. Mass of Anticipation - Holy Family: Will be held Dec. 28 at 4 p.m. at Most Sorrowful Mother of God, 513 N. Ferry St., Vevay, and at 6 p.m. at Prince of Peace, 413 E. Second St.
The Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph: Will be held Dec. 29 at 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. at Prince of Peace, 413 E. Second St.
Mass of Anticipation - Solemnity of Mary: Will be held Dec. 31 at 4 p.m. at Most Sorrowful Mother of God, 513 N. Ferry St., Vevay, and at 6 p.m. at Prince of Peace, 413 E. Second St.
Jesus Clothes Closet: The Jesus Clothes Closet at Trinity United Methodist Church, 412 W. Main St., is open every Monday from 9 to 11 a.m. with free clothes for infants to adults. Use the church's Main Street entrance. Closed on holidays which fall on a Monday.
Open Hands Open Hearts Thrift Shop: Will be open Wednesdays from 2 to 4 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 to 11 a.m. at 254 E. LaGrange Road in Hanover, with clothing from infant to adult sizes, household items and seasonal goods.
Celebrate Recovery: A Christ-centered recovery program for hurts, habits and hang-ups based on the beatitudes will meet from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. every Tuesday and Thursday at 1635 Oak Hill Drive. Sign up by calling (812) 493-4487.

No More Cutting: A support group for girls from junior high to college who struggle with depression, fear, anxiety and suicidal thoughts will hold its first meeting at the Eggleston Community Building, 419 East St., from 6 to 7:30 p.m. will meet every Friday thereafter at the same time.
