Healing Word Church: Has changed service locations. Starting Feb. 3 the church will meet in the Good Samaritan Church Building, 209 E. Main St. Worship services will be at 6 p.m. Sunday and at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
Free event item listings must be in writing and hand-carried, mailed, faxed or e-mailed to The Madison Courier two weeks before the date of the activity or meeting. Sweetheart Dinner: Manville Christian Church, 5491 E. Wolf Run Road, will host a annual sweetheart dinner from 5 to 8 p.m. Feb. 9. The event is hosted by the youth group. The menu includes salad, homemade lasagna, spaghetti and dessert. Donations will be accepted. Reservations can be made by calling (812) 273-4458.
Taco Salad Dinner: West Madison United Methodist Church, 1100 W. Main St., will host a taco salad dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. Feb. 9. A free will offering will be collected.
Guest Speaker Rev. Fred King: Christ Temple Apostolic Church, 420 E. First St., will host guest speaker Rev. Fred King of Columbus at 11:15 a.m. Feb. 10.
Birthday Party: Hanover United Methodist Church, 220 E. LaGrange Road, Hanover, will host a birthday celebration for everyone Feb. 10. A meal will be served at noon, following the second worship service. The menu will include pork roast, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, salad, rolls, brownies and drinks. Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper: Christ Episcopal Church will host its annual Shrove Tuesday pancake supper Feb. 12 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. All are welcome. There is a suggested donation of $5 for the meal. Children preschool-aged and younger eat free.
Community Lenten Service: The theme of the Greater Madison Ministerial Association's community Lenten service is "Preparing your heart, mind and soul to follow Jesus." The hour-long service starts at noon and features a 30-minute worship service followed by a 30-minute lunch. The Feb. 13 service will be held at Trinity United Methodist Church. The speaker will be pastor Matthew Stultz. Donations will be accepted.
Ash Wednesday: North United Methodist Church will host an Ash Wednesday service at 6:30 p.m. Feb. 13.
Ash Wednesday: Paynesville Mt. Zion United Methodist Church will hold an Ash Wednesday service at 6:30 p.m. Feb. 13.
Taize: A Taize worship service will be held Feb. 15 at 6:30 p.m. at Hanover Presbyterian Church. Everyone is welcome. Taize services will be held on the first Friday of the month at Madison Presbyterian Church, 202 Broadway and on the third Friday of each month at Hanover Presbyterian Church, 174 East Main Street, Hanover.
Valentine's Day Family Fellowship Dinner and Game Night: Will be held Feb. 16 at Milton United Methodist Church, 11100 U.S. 421 North, Milton, Ky. Dinner will be served from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. with games starting at 6:30 p.m. The cost of the meal is $7 and includes ham or friend chicken, mashed potatoes, vegetables, roll, tea or lemonade and dessert. The event will also include door prizes.

The Dixie Melody Boys: Will perform at 7 p.m. Feb. 24 at North Madison Baptist Church, 1906 Orchard Street. Admission is $5 at the door. A free will offering will also be collected.
Celebrate Recovery: A Christ-centered recovery program for hurts, habits and hang-ups based on the beatitudes will meet from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. every Tuesday and Thursday at 1635 Oak Hill Drive. Sign up by calling (812) 493-4487.
