Soup Supper: The Ladies of St. John's United Church of Christ will host the monthly soup supper Jan. 25 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. in Wetzel Hall. The menu will include vegetable, potato and bean soups, hot dogs and a variety of sandwiches, a selection of desserts, lemonade, tea and coffee. The price of the meal is $6. Carry out is available.
Event items must be in writing and hand-carried, mailed, faxed or e-mailed to The Madison Courier two weeks before the date of the activity or meeting. Open House Anniversary Service: Green Road Baptist Church, 432 Green Road, will celebrate their 12th anniversary at 10 a.m. on Jan. 27 with an open house service. All are welcome. For more information call (812) 273-4604.
Community Lunch: Hanover United Methodist Church will host a free community lasagna lunch at 12:30 p.m. Jan. 27.
Bible Talks: Will be held at 4 p.m. every Sunday in January at the Madison Chamber of Commerce, 301 E. Main St. All are welcome. For more information call (812) 871-2844.
S.W.O.R.D. Warfare Ministry: The interdenominational organization will meet at 6:30 p.m. Jan. 29 at Point of Grace Family Praise Fellowship, 3304 N. 421.
Taize: A Taize worship service will be held Feb. 1 at 6:30 p.m. at Madison Presbyterian Church. Everyone is welcome. Taize services will be held on the first Friday of the month at Madison Presbyterian Church, 202 Broadway and on the third Friday of each month at Hanover Presbyterian Church, 174 East Main Street, Hanover.
The Nelons: Will perform at 7 p.m. Feb. 1 at North Madison Baptist Church, 1906 Orchard Street. Admission is $5 at the door. A free will offering will also be collected.
Celebrate Recovery: A Christ-centered recovery program for hurts, habits and hang-ups based on the beatitudes will meet from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. every Tuesday and Thursday at 1635 Oak Hill Drive. Sign up by calling (812) 493-4487.
