Spring Revival: Hanover Baptist Church, 151 W. Main St., Hanover, will continue its spring revival May 1 with a 6 p.m. service. The guest speaker will be Dr. Charles Sullivan, the retired executive director of the State Convention of Baptist in Indiana. Nursery care will be available. For more information call (812) 866-3073.

National Day of Prayer: Celebrate National Day of Prayer at noon at the Broadway Fountain. In case of rain the event will be moved to Trinity United Methodist Church. Local pastors and chaplains will lead in prayers for specific areas of influence throughout the nation and community.
Trimble County Hymn Sing: Will be held May 2 at 7 p.m. at Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church. The hymn sing is held the first Thursday of each month at a Trimble County Church.
Taize: A Taize worship service will be held May 3 at 6:30 p.m. at Madison Presbyterian Church. Everyone is welcome. Taize services will be held on the first Friday of the month at Madison Presbyterian Church, 202 Broadway and on the third Friday of each month at Hanover Presbyterian Church, 174 East Main Street, Hanover.
Youth Mission Trip Fundraiser: Trinity United Methodist Church Youth will host a soup and sandwich meal as a fundraiser for their 2013 mission trip. The event will be May 3 from 5 to 6:30 p.m. The meal is $10 per person, and free for children under 6 years old. Following the meal a slideshow of the April 3, 1974 tornado will be shown from 6:45 to 8 p.m.
Pastoral Installation Service: Christ Temple, 420 E. First St., will hold a pastoral installation service at 4 p.m. May 5. They will formally install Rev. Fred King as their pastor. Gospel music will be provided by the Calvary Church Choir with praise and worship from the Levites.
An Evening with Mark Twain: The First Christian Church, 512 W. Main St., will host an evening with Mark Twain at 7 p.m. May 10 and 11. The program is a researched one-man show by Gary Caplinger. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Donations will be accepted. For more information call (812) 265-3945.
The Journeymen: Will perform at 7 p.m. May 11 at North Madison Baptist Church, 1906 Orchard Street. Admission is $5 at the door. A free will offering will also be collected.
Jefferson County Hymn Sing: Will be held May 14 at 7 p.m. at Dupont United Methodist Church. Everyone is welcome to come and sing or listen to the singing.
