Taize: A Taize worship service will be held May 17 at 6:30 p.m. at Hanover Presbyterian Church. Everyone is welcome. Taize services will be held on the first Friday of the month at Madison Presbyterian Church, 202 Broadway and on the third Friday of each month at Hanover Presbyterian Church, 174 East Main Street, Hanover.

End of Month Meal: The Salvation Army end of month meal will be held May 18 from 10:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The menu will include pork loin, bread, green beans, corn and fruit cups. The meal will be served by adult and youth volunteers from North Madison Christian Church.
Armed Forces Day: The First Christian Church of Hanover, will host an Armed Forces Day celebration from 2 to 3 p.m. May 18 with speaker Jim Pendleton and music by Angie Taylor. For more information call (812) 273-4653.
Woodsmen Quartet: Will be in concert at 6:30 p.m. May 19 at the First Christian Church of Hanover.
Revival: Solid Rock Community Church will host a revival from May 20-24 at 6:30 p.m. each evening with Evangelist John North of Rogersville, Tenn. and special music. For more information call (812) 866-5527 or (812) 701-8686.
Church Social: Hopewell Baptist Church, 3078 N. Thompson Road, will host a pitch-in meal May 26 at 4:30 p.m. followed by music from Charlie Schnable at 6 p.m. All are welcome to come and bring a dish to share.
Soup Supper: The Ladies of St. John's United Church of Christ will host the monthly soup supper from 4:30 to 7 p.m. May 31 in Wetzel Hall. The menu will include vegetable, bean and potato soups, hot dogs, sandwiches, homemade desserts, coffee, tea and lemonade. The meal is $6. Carry out is available.
Cookout and Auction: Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church will host a cookout and auction starting at 5 p.m. June 1. All proceeds will go towards programming and activities for the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Youth Group. The auction will include two tickets to the Nationwide Series and two tickets to the truck race at the Kentucky Speedway, as well items from Thirty One, Longaberger and Scentsy. Celebrate Recovery: A Christ-centered recovery program for hurts, habits and hang-ups based on the beatitudes will meet from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. every Tuesday and Thursday at 1635 Oak Hill Drive. Sign up by calling (812) 493-4487.
