Soup Supper: The Ladies of St. John's United Church of Christ will host their final soup supper of the season from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. May 23 in Wetzel Hall on East St. The menu will include chili, bean and potato soups, hot dogs, a variety of sandwiches and desserts, coffee, tea, and lemonade. The meal is $6. Carry out is available.

Worship in the Park: Trinity United Methodist Church will host casual worship services May 25 through June 29 Sundays at the Broadway Fountain from 11:55 a.m. to 12:55 p.m. Those attending are encouraged to bring their own lawn chair.
Healing Service: Christ Episcopal Church, 506 Mulberry St., will host a healing service with Eucharist and anointing with prayer on May 29 at noon.
Open Hands, Open Hearts: The Hanover food pantry will be open on the fifth Friday of the month, May 30. The change is due to the delivery schedule from Gleaner's. The pantry serves the Hanover and Lexington area only.
Yard Sale and Bake Sale: Kent United Methodist Church will host a yard sale and bake sale from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 30 and 31. Proceeds will go toward the church building and local mission funds.
Yard Sale: The Hanover United Methodist Church youth group will host a yard sale fundraiser from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 31. Proceeds will go toward the youth group's mission trip.
40th Anniversary: The First Christian Church of Hanover will celebrate its first 40 years on June 1. The congregation's first minister, Gene Kitts, will lead worship at 10 a.m. followed by lunch. A time for sharing memories and fellowship with former ministers will begin at 2 p.m.
Fish Fry: West Madison United Methodist Church, 1100 W. Main St., will host a fish fry with sandwich, chips and a drink for $5 on June 14 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Jesus Clothes Closet: The Jesus Clothes Closet at Trinity United Methodist Church, 412 W. Main St., is open every Monday from 9 to 11 a.m. with free clothes for infants to adults. Use the church's Main Street entrance. Closed on holidays which fall on a Monday.
