Trimble County Hymn Sing: Will be held Nov. 7 at 7 p.m. at Poplar Ridge Baptist Church. The hymn sing is held the first Thursday of each month at a Trimble County Church.
Soup Supper and Auction: Solid Rock Community Church will host a chili and soup supper, and auction Nov. 8. The meal will be served from 5 to 6:45 p.m. and will offer chili, vegetable soup, beans, cornbread, chili dogs, hot dogs, and drinks. The auction will follow at 7 p.m. All proceeds will go to the Solid Rock Community Church Ladies Group.
Jefferson County Hymn Sing: Will be held at 7 p.m. Nov. 8 at St. John's United Church of Christ, 406 East St. All are welcome to come and sing or listen to the singing.
Soup Supper and Auction: Paynesville Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, 5820 W. Jackson Road, Hanover, will host a soup supper and auction Nov. 9. The supper starts at 5 p.m. with the auction to follow. Proceeds will to children in need during the holidays.
David Ferrell: Comedian David Ferrell will perform at 6 p.m. Nov. 10 at the Madison Assembly of God, 1636 Clifty Drive. For more information call (812) 273-3129.
World War II Veteran's Day Presentation: Trinity United Methodist Church, 412 W. Main St., will host veteran Bob Binzer at 5 p.m. Nov. 11. Binzer, a World War II pilot, will share his experiences flying C47s over the Himalayan Mountains. The event will also include food and live music from the era. Donations will be accepted. Proceeds will go towards the purchase of a new sound system.
Taize: A Taize worship service will be held Nov. 15 at 6:30 p.m. at Hanover Presbyterian Church. Everyone is welcome. Taize services will be held on the first Friday of the month at Madison Presbyterian Church, 202 Broadway and on the third Friday of each month at Hanover Presbyterian Church, 174 East Main Street, Hanover.
Revival: Milton United Methodist Church will host a revival with Dan Frederick with services at 10:30 a.m. Nov. 17 and at 7 p.m. Nov. 17-Nov. 22.
Jesus Clothes Closet: The Jesus Clothes Closet at Trinity United Methodist Church, 412 W. Main St., is open every Monday from 9 to 11 a.m. with free clothes for infants to adults. Use the church's Main Street entrance. Closed on holidays which fall on a Monday.
Open Hands Open Hearts Thrift Shop: Will be open Wednesdays from 2 to 4 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 to 11 a.m. at 254 E. LaGrange Road in Hanover, with clothing from infant to adult sizes, household items and seasonal goods.
Celebrate Recovery: A Christ-centered recovery program for hurts, habits and hang-ups based on the beatitudes will meet from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. every Tuesday and Thursday at 1635 Oak Hill Drive. Sign up by calling (812) 493-4487.

Joy in the Journey: A women's fellowship and Bible study will meet from 6 to 7:30 p.m. each Tuesday at the First Baptist Church of Madison. The group is led by Jackie Osinski. For more information call (502) 468-6316.
No More Cutting: A support group for girls from junior high to college who struggle with depression, fear, anxiety and suicidal thoughts will hold its first meeting at the Eggleston Community Building, 419 East St., from 6 to 7:30 p.m. will meet every Friday thereafter at the same time. The group is spiritually-based and non-denominational. For more information call (502) 468-6316.
