Revival: Calvary Wesleyan Church will host a revival Oct. 16 to Oct. 21 with services Tuesday through Saturday at 7 p.m. with Sunday services including Sunday school at 9:30 a.m., morning worship at 10:25 a.m. and evening worship at 6 p.m. The services will feature evangelist Rev. John Moffatt from French Lick and singing from The Singing Richards, Larry and Phyllis of Greenwood.
Taize: A Taize worship service will be held Oct. 19 at 6:30 p.m. at Hanover Presbyterian Church. Everyone is welcome. Taize services will be held on the first Friday of the month at Madison Presbyterian Church, 202 Broadway and on the third Friday of each month at Hanover Presbyterian Church, 174 East Main Street, Hanover.
Indian-Kentuck Baptist Church Bicentennial: Indian-Kentuck Baptist Church will celebrate 200 years with an outdoor concert Oct. 20 by the Madison Community Band, followed by birthday cake and ice cream. In case of bad weather, the event will be moved inside the church. A special worship service will be at 10:30 a.m. Oct. 21 with Soozi Whitten-Ford as guest speaker. She is the new executive minister of the American Baptist Churches of Indiana and Kentucky. The service will include special music and additional guests. A pitch-in meal will follow the service.
Dog Obedience Classes: Hanover United Methodist Church will offer dog obedience classes starting Oct. 22 from 6 to 7 p.m. The class will run for six-weeks and will meet through Nov. 26. The cost is a free will offering. For more information or to register call (812) 265-4628.
The McDougal Family: Will be at the Madison Consolidated High School auditorium at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 24. The family travels the country singing and sharing their story. Three of the family's four children have cystic fibrosis. Admission is free. The event is sponsored by the National Honors Society and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
Soup Supper: The Ladies of St. John's Church will host a monthly soup supper Oct. 26 from 4:30 to 7 p.m. The menu will include vegetable, potato and bean soup, a variety of sandwiches, hot dogs, a variety of desserts, lemonade, coffee and tea. The meal is $6. Carry out is available.
Chili, Bean and Cornbread Dinner: Milton United Methodist Church, 11100 Highway 421 North, Milton, Ky. will host a chili, bean and cornbread dinner and baked goods auction from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Oct. 27.
Joy in the Journey: A women's fellowship and Bible study will meet at 6 p.m. each Tuesday at A Step Back Restaurant in New Washington. The group is led by Jackie Osinski. For more information call (502) 468-6316.
Celebrate Recovery: A Christ-centered recovery program for hurts, habits and hang-ups based on the beatitudes will meet from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. every Tuesday night and every Thursday at 1635 Oak Hill Drive. Sign up by calling (812) 493-4487.Jesus Clothes Closet: The Jesus Clothes Closet at Trinity United Methodist Church is open every Monday from 9 to 11 a.m. with free clothes for infants to adults. Use the church's Main Street entrance.
