Revival: Madison Calvary Wesleyan Church, 1627 Clifty Drive, will host a revival Oct. 22-27 with services at 7 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday and at 6 p.m. Sunday with evangelist Dan York and music from Larry and Ladonna Thomas. For more information call (812) 273-5392 or (812) 240-6745.
Soup Supper: The Ladies of St. John's United Church of Christ will host their monthly soup supper Oct. 25 from 4:30 to 7 p.m. in Wetzel Hall. The menu will include chili, bean and potato soups, hot dogs, a variety of sandwiches, homemade desserts, coffee, tea and lemonade. The meal is $6. Carry out is available.
No More Cutting: A support group for girls from junior high to college who struggle with depression, fear, anxiety and suicidal thoughts will hold its first meeting at the Eggleston Community Building, 419 East St., from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Oct. 25 and will meet every Friday thereafter at the same time. The group is spiritually-based and non-denominational. For more information call (502) 468-6316.
Heaven or Hell - Your Choice: Faith Covenant Church, 217 E. Third St., will host the event at 6 p.m. Oct. 25 and 26 and Nov. 1 and 2. Admission is $10 at the door. No one under 12 years of age will be admitted. For more information call (812) 701-6388.
Friend Day: Cornerstone Baptist Church, 221 W. Kuntz Road, will host a friend day Oct. 27 at 9:15 a.m. and 10 a.m. For more information call (812) 866-4030.
Homecoming: Smyrna-Monroe Presbyterian Church will host a homecoming on Oct. 27 with worship at 11 a.m. followed by a pitch-in lunch. Hearts of Joy will provide music in the afternoon. All are welcome.
Halloween Party: Trinity United Methodist Church, 412 W. Main St., will host a Halloween party Oct. 27 from 4:30 to 7 p.m. starting at the Broadway Fountain before moving inside the church. The free event will include a trunk-or-treat, food, games and live music. Costumes are encouraged, but not required.
Trunk-or-Treat: New Bethel Church, 9248 W. New Bethel Road, Lexington, will host a trunk-or-treat event Oct. 27 with inflatable slides, games, crafts, food and prize drawings from 4 to 6 p.m. For more information call (812) 866-3443.
Trunk-or-Treat: Hanover United Methodist Church, 220 E. LaGrange Road, Hanover, will host a trunk-or-treat for all children Oct. 27 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. with treats and games. Those attending are asked to bring a non-perishable food item for the food pantry.
Fall Festival/Halloween Alternative: Hanover Baptist Church, 151 W. Main St., will host a fall festival nd Halloween alternative Oct. 31 from 6 to 8 p.m. No scary or violent costumes.
Taize: A Taize worship service will be held Nov. 1 at 6:30 p.m. at Madison Presbyterian Church. Everyone is welcome. Taize services will be held on the first Friday of the month at Madison Presbyterian Church, 202 Broadway and on the third Friday of each month at Hanover Presbyterian Church, 174 East Main Street, Hanover.
The Diplomats: Will perform at 7 p.m. Nov. 1 at North Madison Baptist Church, 1906 Orchard Street. Admission is $5 at the door. A free will offering will also be collected.
Craft and Food Bazaar: The First Baptist Church, 416 Vine St., will host its annual craft and food bazaar from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 2 with handmade crafts, holiday items, wreaths and baked goods. Proceeds will go to local and other missions.
Soup Supper: West Madison United Methodist Church, 1100 W. Main St., will host a soup supper from 4 to 7 p.m. Nov. 2 with soups, sandwiches and desserts. A free will offering will be collected.
Jesus Clothes Closet: The Jesus Clothes Closet at Trinity United Methodist Church, 412 W. Main St., is open every Monday from 9 to 11 a.m. with free clothes for infants to adults. Use the church's Main Street entrance. Closed on holidays which fall on a Monday.
Open Hands Open Hearts Thrift Shop: Will be open Wednesdays from 2 to 4 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 to 11 a.m. at 254 E. LaGrange Road in Hanover, with clothing from infant to adult sizes, household items and seasonal goods.
Celebrate Recovery: A Christ-centered recovery program for hurts, habits and hang-ups based on the beatitudes will meet from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. every Tuesday and Thursday at 1635 Oak Hill Drive. Sign up by calling (812) 493-4487.
Joy in the Journey: A women's fellowship and Bible study will meet from 6 to 7:30 p.m. each Tuesday at the First Baptist Church of Madison. The group is led by Jackie Osinski. For more information call (502) 468-6316.
