The Sunshine Homemakers met April 9 at Hanover Baptist Church. President Dorothy Morgan opened the meeting with the Extension Homemakers Club Creed, followed by the Pledge of Allegiance. Club members sang the song of the month, "Take Me Out to the Ballgame." Marie Black gave devotions from Psalm 63 and from "Front Porch Tales" by Philip Gulley. Members answered the roll call with what they were planning to put in their garden. Membership dues must be paid in May. The anonymous quote of the month was, "All the flowers of all the tomorrows are the seeds of today and yesterdays." The thought for the month was, "If you want the rainbow, you gotta put up with the rain." The club's next meeting is set for 2 p.m. May 7 at the church.
