The Sunshine Homemakers met Feb. 12 at Hanover Baptist Church. Club president Dorothy Morgan opened the meeting with the Extension Homemakers Club Creed and the Pledge of Allegiance. Members sang the song of the month, "Let Me Call You Sweetheart." Sandy Koehler gave devotions from Luke 6:12-16. Members answered the roll call with examples of their hobbies. District meeting reservations were discussed for the event which will be March 11 at Versailles Baptist Church. The quote for the month was from Mother Teresa, "Kind words can be short and easy to speak but are truly endless." The thought for the month was from Walter Linn, "It is surprising what a man can do when he has to, and how little most men will do when they don't have to." The club's next meeting was set for 2 p.m. March 12 at Hanover Baptist Church.
